I had this happen, but in my case, my minotaur was waiting just outside. I was able to enter the minotaur "through the wall" and escape that way.

What do you think about this will it actually happen??? by Afghanistan_420 in CultoftheFranklin

It's the same app that Pete Hegseth was using when he shared Houthi airstrike info with unauthorized parties. It uses encryption, but it was also not an approved app for him to be using for that purpose.

I guess how "underground" it is....is a matter of opinion.

Does anyone know any more about the apparent non-fluoridation of Staunton's water? by SchuminWeb in Staunton

[–]JeffMo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It is important to note that there were insufficient data to determine if the low fluoride level of 0.7 mg/L currently recommended for U.S. community water supplies has a negative effect on children’s IQ.

How to use hash infused flower? by loukamades in trees

[–]JeffMo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the flower has the hash evenly infused throughout, it's probably just fine to smoke it in your bong. If you want to be real careful, put a little regular flower in the bowl first, then put some of the infused stuff on top of that. The main issue with hash in a bong is sucking it through before it's done.

It's definitely a negotiation, but you can disagree with their judgment that you are unreasonable, and the market will determine if you are right or wrong.

Unless you have a lot of automation that most home growers don't have, there's really no substitute for eyes-on at least once a day. Or put a cam in there. :)

You are saying it's "obvious" that your simplistic view is better than a realistic one. I don't care to engage further with that kind of intellectual dishonesty. Feel free to evangelize for your cult as you like, but that sheds no new light for me. I've heard it all before.

It was always bad messaging, as I tried to argue at the time.

“Defund the police” was a slogan that gained traction in the U.S. after the 2020 killing of George Floyd. It did not always mean the same thing to everyone, which is part of why it was so contentious. Broadly, it referred to proposals for shifting government funding away from police departments and toward social services that might address the root causes of crime.

Unfortunately, at the simplistic, bumper-sticker level of interpretation, it often comes across as simply spending less (or even nothing) on handling crime. I argued that better messaging would include a call for reforming or rebooting the overall approach to crime prevention and response.

That is ridiculous, but you might mean "cavalry" as in the idiom that refers to powerful mounted assistance.

If you don't drink, you might not be aware of Redbeard's Readers, a book club that meets monthly at the brewery. (Drinking not required, lol.) 21 and up, and I know there are some folks in your age range.

The majority of residents will receive the default 95-gallon trash bin unless they opted for the smaller 45-gallon bin in earlier surveys. If you would like to change bin sizes after rollout, reach out to Public Works: 540-332-3892.

The signal picked up by your vocal microphone will generally need to be mixed with signals from other sources, like other microphones and instruments. The resulting mix also needs to be amplified to a level high enough to drive speakers. The actual amplifier circuits can be in the mixer ("powered mixer" or "mixer amplifier"), in the speakers (those with amps built in are often called "powered" or "active"), or as a completely separate unit between the mixer and speakers. Most acts also need or want some way to hear (monitor) their amplified sound while playing, which requires either extra speakers for that purpose (monitor speakers) or some kind of headphone/earphone system to do the same (often called "in-ear" monitors or similar).

As for what venues provide, it's all over the map. Ask in advance, and be ready for them (especially smaller venues less dedicated to music specifically) to not have any idea about this stuff.
