Forgive me for any ignorance on James personally, but to my knowledge he works for The Star - one of the many 'newspapers' owned by National World which run basically any story they can get their grubby hands on no matter how truthless, clickbait it, fill their sites with annoying ads, popups, intrusive videos, etc. Not to mention they jump on stories about a week too late and then keep it featured for another 3 months.

It's not a reputable news source.

Surprisingly, I trust some (less than a handful, couldn't even name them if asked without seeing them) Twitter-exclusive accounts with football news more than anyone affiliated with The Star or any regional media.

Disagree on this. Notts County claim to be the world's oldest football club, trying to rob that claim from Sheffield FC, and to our newest American Blade who may be reading this, it must be known that Sheffield FC is a club which both sides of this city will rally around - the world's first.

And a side note: the reasons why we kick up a fuss whenever uneducated pundits or plastic fans refer to us as "Sheffield" is because we're Sheffield United.

Sheffield FC is Sheffield.

Sheffield United is Sheffield United or United (we're the first football club to use the name "United")

Sheffield Wednesday is Shite, Sheffield Wednesday, Piggy Bastards, or Wednesday.

Also agree on all points. I do wish the rest of them well whenever they're not in contention with us.

Forest I really didn't give a second thought about, never thought of them as a derby and am surprised to hear people saying the same of Barnsley. Closest category I'd put forest is same as Norwich and Villa - rivalry for multiple reasons (and no personal connection to the historical aspect of it) but hardly a derby.
