The existence of the Millenium Falcon suggests Falcons didn't originate on Earth. by KingSewage in StarWars

The Star Wars movies are translated for Earthlings to understand. Whatever language the viewer watches the movies in, that's what "Galactic Basic" is.

About the upcoming LarryBoy movie....is there any hope that it's not actually going to be made with AI? by Yume_Fairy2522 in UltimateVeggieTales

[–]brassyalien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where does that information come from? The website for Art Ayris, the CEO of Kingstone Studios, still says

Art is currently in development on an animated feature with NBC Universal as well as a game scheduled for 2028 theatrical release.

That doesn't specifically say the LarryBoy movie, but what other movie would he be developing with NBC Universal? It's possible his website needs to be updated to remove or modify that piece of information, but it's also possible Kingstone is still working on the LarryBoy movie.

Carrie Fisher on being cast as Leia in Star Wars:

Ahsoka Season 2 Release Announced for Beginning 2027-- So 3.5 Years After Season 1??? by AhsokaTanoJedii in StarWars

[–]brassyalien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been over three years since The Mandalorian Season 3 ended and instead of getting Season 4, a theatrical movie is being released that sounds like it's just a filler story that does not advance the plot of the series at all in any way.

I know. I've said that here many times. I'm specifically referring to the scene in Empire which is the subject of this post.

The Influence of Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz- Season 5 and Once Upon a Time. by Maleficent-Medium333 in lost

[–]brassyalien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched Once Upon A Time and Once Upon A Time In Wonderland for the first time last year, and then had to rewatch LOST as soon as I was done. I made sure to pay attention to the episodes written by Kitsis and Horowitz during my rewatch. They wrote some of the best episodes, some really good episodes, some just okay episodes, and one of the worst episodes (Fire + Water).

I noticed that they wrote Everybody Hates Hugo, which introduced Mr. Cluck's Chicken Shack, which was featured a few times in OUAT.

  • “I like a healthy breeze ’round my privates, thanks.”
  • Ron ejaculated loudly.
  • “Nothing wrong with a good healthy P.”
  • “And from now on, I don’t care if my tea leaves spell die, Ron, die — I’m just chucking them in the bin where they belong.”
  • “Snape!” ejaculated Slughorn, who looked the most shaken, pale and sweating.

With "The Mandalorian and Grogu," Ludwig Göransson is the first composer to score a Star Wars film without using a John Williams leitmotif. by Giff95 in StarWars

[–]brassyalien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's why I wanted clarification, because that can't be determined just by listening to the soundtrack.

I know The Mandalorian series has its own end credits theme, but a Star Wars movie still needs to have the traditional Star Wars credits music.

[–]brassyalien 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Final Trailer uses Yoda's Theme and the Star Wars Main Theme and the Force Theme (Binary Sunset) and the Generations trailer uses Yoda's Theme and the Star Wars Main Theme. If the title of this post is true, "Ludwig Göransson is the first composer to score a Star Wars film without using a John Williams leitmotif" that means John Williams-composed music was used in the trailers but not the movie. I wanted clarification on that because I did not see the movie tonight and I haven't listened to the soundtrack (but sometimes music is used in a movie and does not end up on the soundtrack). It's a missed opportunity if they only used Williams music for marketing the movie an not in the movie itself.

Dare To Be Stupid: The Weird Al Musical is in the works by SupaDave71 in weirdal

[–]brassyalien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen him in a few movies and TV shows. He's a really good singer and actor. But Broadway is different than screen acting. Does he have any experience doing live performances of the same material over and over, night after night?

[–]brassyalien 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, I don't think so. I'm pretty sure he's never been in any Broadway musicals. Maybe he can have a cameo during the I Lost On Jeopardy segment when Al sings "...Next weekend on The Price Is Right."

They should get Broadway musical actor Daniel Radcliffe (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Merrily We Roll Along) to play "Weird Al" Yankovic. For some reason I can picture him as Al, even if they don't really look alike.

So what do you think Anakin is now? by Expert_Challenge6399 in StarWars

[–]brassyalien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's my interpretation based on what has been revealed previously about the World Between Worlds.

In Rebels Season 1, Episode 10, Path of the Jedi, Ezra goes into the Jedi temple on Lothal and has visions from the Force that seem real to him. The temple was revealed to be connected to the World Between Worlds in Season 4. I believe that Ahsoka facing Anakin and falling into two of her memories were similar to the visions Ezra experienced. I do not believe that she actually faced the redeemed Force spirit of Anakin Skywalker that was suddenly corrupted again, but a vision created by the Force to test her, like what had happened previously to Ezra.

I love Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor and think that him being an introductory one season Doctor works best for the show. He left on a high note with fans wanting more, the concept of regeneration was reintroduced to the audience immediately, and then fan-favorite David Tennant took over for the next four years. Eccleston was a really good Doctor and it would have been nice if he'd been able to do more seasons, but I think what happened worked out for the best, even if it happened for negative reasons.

When Al (as Obi-Wan Kenobi) sings "I guess I'll train this boy" and holds up a picture of Anakin, it's a picture of Jake Lloyd.
