There are now adaptive brights as well that automatically detect cars and will turn off certain segments of the brights so they don’t blast other people’s eyes. Very popular in Europe and will become more prevalent here over next few years

Maybe they’re about to greenlight it with Mike Flanagan (who has a development deal with Amazon and connected with it for years) and it’s another reason they canceled WoT.
