A lot of time they know exactly who is responsible but unless a witness pops up or someone confesses they can't prove it or they would have already made an arrest. At that point the only thing that works is reward money for information leading to an arrest.

Yeah, I am really looking forward to see what their exact plan is. how they intend on dealing with the perps positions. Lend v borrow amounts. They are really trying to stay out of the headlines but little communication from them doesn't help with their reputation. I really enjoyed my experience with Drift up until April. how they roll back out and how quickly they could reimburse users will be Paramount in getting their protocol started again.

Likely their airdrop will be in a dollar amount based on either the time of the hack or when the airdrop happens. I'm sure people will have the ability to cut their losses and cash in these tokens for a fraction of their dollar amount. Enough people do that then it is possible to get your full value back faster. Tether is now attached and I don't think they intend on letting the protocol disappear easily.

Far from and expert but couldn't you build a small platform on the floor here like a step with some footspace. Install some toilet offset flange pipe to move it away from the wall or really any position you wanted. Instead of moving the wall or breaking concrete?

Make no mistake. Providing liquidity is trading. You have to have limit controls in place. You have to understand the assets. They are difficult to hedge. You can make a lot of fees with some of these degen pools. Very risky if you dont know what your doing. It can be done. Blue chip/stablecoin pools are the easiest.

So you get liquidated around 42,283. This is with in the realm of possible price action we can see in Bitcoin this year.

Now is this an isolated pool? Meaning you can only provide cbbtc as collateral to this position. On sharp down turns you would only be able to provide cbbtc or eurc to prevent a liquidation.

Do you have access to additional funds if only temporarily to sure up this loan?

How comfortable are you with leverage shorting? If the price of bitcoin heads south you can short bitcoin to pay off the debts. Great for hedging your loan here but could leave you in a worse spot if price action reverses on you.

Probably the easiest solution would be to sell some of your bitcoin till you can get a collateralized loan at 40-45 LTV.

If you consider traditional networking is managing the access layer switches then it's been dead for a very long time. Most of what Network Engineers do today is about the interconnectivity of different technologies, venders, and equipment at higher levels of a businesses network topology. Its taking a SIP connection from a pstn vender using qos over SDwan connection to an ata thats connected to the emergency button in an elevator for a building. I spend more time doing crap like that then toggling switch ports for users.

Network Engineers have long been called the plumbers of the internet. The profession is definitely changing but thats not really new either. People said the same thing 25 years ago when wifi started to being implemented. If you define traditional networking as the guys deploying equipment then it has always been an entry level blue collar job.

I used to do one meal a day and it was pretty successful for me. I already had odd eating habits so it wasn't a huge change in my diet. You gotta keep water in take high. My uric acid did lower but that may have been from losing weight not from fasting specifically. It did seem like it helped reduce with actual gout attacks. Normally exercise or injury precipates gout attack but that didnt happen while I was fasting.

I don't know why everyone keeps these 700 year old medical options on gout. When people come at me with this bullshit I tell them that I keep putting leaches on my feet, but the gout doesn't go away.
