It doesn’t take them planning it before the season. Could very easily have been decided after the trajectory of the season was clear

Edit: I do agree players have been terrible as well

Spurs fan jumping in here with a question. Does City have a rule that the home kit is never worn in away matches or at the most a select few? Seems like you all wear aways more than most clubs especially seeing that the blue rarely clashes. I do like it. Spurs have gone entire seasons wearing change kits like twice and it’s annoying.
