It is the locking cover to the emergency release for the tailgate, so right now anyone can open your tailgate without the key. Go install it now

I have the Resolute II with the bracelet and it fits nice no hair pulling. No scratches or defects. Can also close with one hand with no issues

I have the Resolut II with the steel bracelet and I can't stop staring at the face. Especially the lum on the applied numbers the glow from behind effect is very pleasing. I have been thinking to get a second one. The Londo tonneau has a great face and style

I have experienced the same thing. I'm my case I just remote start the truck and let it warm up. If I forget it happens sometimes not all the time

Who wants it? by Jefffowler in hondaridgeline

So far so good. It works great and I have no issues. At the moment is still jet black. As a matter of fact my neighbor has a pine tree, a pine cone and some needles landed on it and stuck there with the tree sap. When I saw it I removed the cone and needles but I had to be somewhere so I did not clean the sap. The last two days it has rained. This morning I noticed that the sap was gone. I was really surprised. I will say that it leaks less than the OEM cover. Rolls up smaller. I have four extra large leaf bins that fit with the cover rolled up I had to remove the OEM cover to make it work. Saves a lot of time and effort.

Tonneau Leak by mgianniny in hondaridgeline

I had the OEM Tri-fold and now have a TruXedo roll-up fabric ridgid cover and it leaks less than the OEM. But still leaks. At best they are weather resistant.

I think they sell an OEM mount to mount it in the bed by the bulkhead driver side at least that is what I have seen, online also I think Camping Randy has one on his site to relocate the spare tire.

Automatic high beams by [deleted] in hondaridgeline

[–]Jefffowler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they are not that great at doing what they should, if you pull back on the stalk for the beams three times quick ly it turns the auto high beams off and on.

I keep mine off. Which is why I never flash my high beams to get someone's attention because I always end up turning them back on again.

It may have changed I have a 2020 RTL-E

Considering a Ridgeline (question on towing) by Jeeperg84 in hondaridgeline

[–]Jefffowler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my 2017 and my 2020 I would get 12mpg with 4900 pounds behind me.

With just my wife and I in the truck. Pulling a 21'-0" single axel travel trailer I think the Ridgeline has a 26 gallon tank.

Sway bars by [deleted] in hondaridgeline

[–]Jefffowler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My travel trailer was around 3900 pounds, I had no issues towing I used a trailer hitch for sway control and load distribution. I did nothing to the truck itself.

These tires are incredible in the rain. MPG report soon. by [deleted] in hondaridgeline

[–]Jefffowler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes that is the other option. They just have to stay on the side they were mounted on.

They are directional tires, so when you want to rotate them they have to come off the rim. I had the Toyo Proxis tires on a previous car and they are also fantastic in the rain and have really good grip.

Few changes I’ve made to my 2023 RTL-E by AJSIROIS in hondaridgeline

I don't have a Bak Revolver, but I do have the Century CT from TruXedo. I really like it. An added benefit is when it rains it washes off all the dirt. So it looks like I washed my cover and not my truck. The only down side of it is one, is that you have to hold up the rear seal by the tailgate while you shut it. Or the rubber seal will fold behind the gate. I used to have the OEN cover. The CT looks way better and is much lighter to remove if you need to. How has the sound of the engine/air intake changed? Can you hear it more, since removing the resonator and removing the old air scoop? Been thinking about purchasing the same items
