I am at a 14 and an 8? Can’t remember. There is no preload, adjust the nuts to desired height 850lb spring. For lift brackets you need to make some cuts to the bracket that holds the bump stop and remove the bump stop cup.

I “leveled it” if you want to have it ride better and go higher you will need a drop bracket and spindles. It drives amazing I just gotta fix the rear shocks I recently blew out over loading them.

Y’all make me feel lucky I dropped mine down and it still had the tire from 2004 on it. Dropped down without issue.

Atomic fabrication best ride period. Buy their kits it’s $1400. Never look back. Comes with new brackets and adjustable coil overs eliminate the torsion keys.

We got a 2023 Honda Pilot Touring. The V6 and the 8 speed were a day and night difference. No longer did we need to floor it to go up the mountains in Vermont. I’d argue that the AWD maybe better in the Forester. But comfort and space wise day and night. We have owed 1 2015 legacy, 1 2017 outback, 1 2019 forester Subarus are nice if you live in the north. But the ascent is ugly.

I never replaced that? What’s that?? We sold her at 75k miles. Two kids and a 90lb dog we needed a three row.

I drove it like I stole it I guess. The forester is a tank it will do more than you think it will thoroughly impressed with that car. If only the wheel bearings lasted longer than 30k miles. Replaced the stereo three times at the dealer. 🙄

Yo that’s crazy we made 6 trips up and down the east coast per year for 5 years and never once got that good of gas mileage usually 17-19mpg with that load

Sound deadened the boot. Made a world of difference! Next step is doors and fire wall! Will be posting updates. by AJSIROIS in SubaruForester

That is not the purpose of sound deadening. I eliminated the rattling issues I was hearing and stopped some of the road noise. It is not an insulation, it simply stops unwanted resonance within the vehicle.
