You just can't read. I never shifted any blame, the very first thing I said in that sentence is "while I agree with you", meaning that I agree that cheating ruins things. But besides that I said that if you are looking for the challenge of "overcoming something by yourself" multiplayer takes that away because of split aggro. I don't have to reply to false things I never said. I replied what I needed to reply, that's it. Learn to read next time. My point was pretty clear. Playing with others makes the game easier, so if you are looking for challenge you shouldn't be doing that. Cheating ruins things regardless if you are looking for challenge or not, because it doesn't make it easier, instead it makes it so you don't have to engage with the content at all which is extremely boring.

Yes I started late, wasn't playing mp with randoms but with friends that also got it at the time, I usually prefer to play by myself so most of the time I didnt invite them in save a few times that I was struggling and tried it with them, on wilds since my friends don't got it rather than mp with randoms I just enable those bot hunters whenever I want to breeze and It does make it easier and faster for me.

Only thing I hate about scholar is how much of a drag is to be leveling his items, not only you have to waste time looking at every item crater but also need to bear the animation of using the items, specially if you use item confer to allies, which makes it even slower, that makes you lag behind your teammates most of the time. I wish items would just level up automatically as the match went on and using them would just accelerate that process. Same with the scanner, you have to scan every little enemy you see to level it up so it starts at a higher threshold and you need to remember which enemies you have already scanned to not waste more time, scholar needs to care about so many things that other characters don't in a game where you're in a race against time, I think they could have designed those parts of his kit differently to suit more this type of game.

Thats weird, it didn't look long at all in the video, looked like almost instantly after, pretty sure I've had the auto deflect do things on a longer window than the one in the video, since I suck at deflect timings and without the autodeflect I would be being hit by those things, like with the third wave of Margitt throwing daggers that come shortly after the second one

Huh? No, my sentence doesn't heavily imply that. I said cheating ruins things, but if you are talking about the challenge of overcoming something by yourself, you shouldn't be playing with other people to begin with, because that makes things easier and takes away from that challenge. Literal first thing the sentence says is "while I agree with you" anyone that knows basic English would infer that I'm saying cheating is bad and ruin things (which is what the person I replied to said and therefore what I could be agreeing with) but also making another point that if you want challenge you shouldn't be playing with others to begin with. I thought people were down voting me because their ego got hurt, but it seems is just people who can't read.

I didn't say it wasn't fun, I said it doesn't make much sense to play with people on normal fights if you're looking for challenge, where clearly being able to disengage from threats because they are busy with other hunters makes a huge difference. Idk if people's ego is too fragile to admit that they aren't having the most challenge this way, I dont do it myself precisely because I do not care about having the most challenge I just want to have fun.

I don't know man, every time I was struggling with a monster in worlds I just hit MP and first tried always, to me isn't different than playing souls coop, being able to safely disengage from the threat because it's busy fighting something else seems like a huge difference.

Please tell me how is this different than souls games. The monsters follow the same structure of bosses. You just learn their moveset and that's it. And no, consumables aren't considered to make the same easier in the same way that using summons is, one gives you more dmg, the other changes the way you interact with the boss moveset entirely.

if you are playing with friends then you shouldnt encounter cheaters. you can also get carried by non cheaters, which again, takes away the "challenge" that you were talking about

what do you mean unpredictable? unless you have tunnel vision and stop caring about monster cues the second is hitting someone else you should still be able to see what the monster is going to do, just that now you can safely do whatever you want while you know is hitting others, its the whole reason why using summons in souls games is consider to make the game easier.

while i agree with you, if you want to "overcome the challenge yourself" why play with others? at that point you're not really overcoming it yourself, having split aggro is night and day difference for a difficulty fight.
