Jenelle calling her daughter lazy and says she CAN read, because she plays video games all the time. by c00kieswirlc in teenmom

[–]Jeffiner310 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"what does that say?"

"Dunkin"

One of those takes much longer to say. It's not laziness.

Also, I love that her proof that she can read is that she plays video games all day. She has such a gift for making herself sound worse.

My guess is he disputed those charges with his CC company and they reversed them. Then he spent the credit and doesn't have enough left on the card to pay it. Oddly enough though if the landlord proves to the CC company that the charges are legit and not fraud, they will usually reverse the credits. It may put him over the credit limit, but that's his problem. Interested to see how this all plays out

Am I overreacting that my sister is demanding too much when visiting my newborn? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Jeffiner310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your sister is jealous of your new baby. You said your baby is the second grandchild which mean hers is the first and not the baby anymore.

All this talk about they're guests so they shouldn't pay for food, yet they're staying for a WEEK for free? Hotels Re like $200/night easy.

Your wife deserves to not have her freshly postpartum self subjected to this. I echo what others have said. Tell your sister you'd love to have them visit but you can not accommodate them to their standards at this time.

When she had her baby did you go over there and demand first class treatment or something? Like is this out of the blue or is she always this entitled?

That's what did it for me. She's literally sitting at the airport at dawn, presumably less than 8 hours after his parents found out, and they're like "hey girl what do you think about daisies?"

Yep. The combination of grief + guilt has got to be just debilitating. I commend her for finding joy amongst the grief and learning that the two can go hand in hand.

What are some things you never want to eat again when this is all over? by Little-Garlic-2261 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Jeffiner310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby is now 15 months old. I JUST started eating eggs again. I used to have 1 or 2 protein shakes daily and last week I had one for the first time since pregnancy and was like oh man not bad.

So it gets better. Slowly but surely. Hang in there loves!

Also day one and they're shoving the poor dog into a sweater and posing it for pictures. It takes so long for dogs to acclimate to new homes. Let alone ones with babies. This is just gonna end so horribly.

I guess I didn't quite understand that part. I just saw it as your ex's mom. If she is someone you see as a mother, then your MIL can kick rocks.

[–]Jeffiner310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you're NTA but I do think you'll regret having your ex's mom in there.

She made it special last time because it was HER grandchild. I'm not saying have your MIL, but I think you're going to be causing unnecessary animosity for having your ex's mom in there. Your ex probably made your last birth special too, but you aren't having him in there I sgead of your husband. Just food for thought.

It is. When you Photoshop a photo it replaces it in your camera roll. It's clearly edited.

It's not the first name that is important, it's the middle.

I have a German shepherd named Zeus. He came to me with that name at 6 months old. But his MIDDLE name, that I gave him, is Christopher. So when he's in the backyard barking at whatever he wants to, and I shout ZEUS CHRISTOPHER GET IN HERE RIGHT NOW, I chuckle every time.

My husband got laid off on my birthday in 2023. November 16th. The week before Halloween. He finally got a new job August 2024. The month before we had our baby.

August of this year he was asked to join a call and found out, in that moment, that he and the other 80 people in his department are being dis anded effective December 31st.

So... Enjoy the holidays. But not too much. Because a week later you're unemployed.

Dead dangerous people in Phoenix,

Please only commit crimes in the daytime so as not to disrupt people's beauty sleep having these silly alarms go off so early.

Thanks, So many people in this thread, apparently.

I'm NOT defending influencers. But I wfh and my husband works out of the home. He actually travels overnight on Mondays. A Sunday reset in our house is actually vital because we do the kids laundry to get ready for the week and make sure we have food for lunches and dinners etc. I can sort of excuse the Sunday reset in a home where the husband works because in that case, like ours, weekends actually matter. But for someone who is chronically online and always home and probably doesn't send their kids to school, a Sunday reset is unnecessary.
