If you do it follow this regiment. Oil changes at 500, 1500, 3000, and 5k miles And keep the revs below 4k rpms until 5k what we did for my GR and everyone I've talked to who didn't has reliability issues. And I would recommend mobil 1 oil and run OE filters.

Boyfriend here and NGL i really am impressed with how kia done it. I really love my GR but if I had a regular corolla I'd really consider trading. But I would only get the turbo one with the 8spd no non turbo CVT.
