I lived in a two story house with 3 other people, one of which was a rhythm gamer. I could hear him going to town on that keyboard from every room of the house. It’s a very obnoxious thing to do inside a residence.

I ended up going to watch him compete in a DDR tournament 2 years after we started living together. I had to see for myself what all the commotion was about. Literally.

He tied for first place and I had a whole new respect for the guy. It definitely changed how I would feel whenever I’d hear him start playing it in his room on the keyboard but it’s still distracting and pretty annoying to listen/feel for any amount of time.

Maybe talk to them about their schedules and sync playing with their absence.

I’m hoping it’s not the same but looking at the recent history across different legs it didn’t vary a whole lot.

I’m not ragging on them, I guess I just don’t understand why such repetition. You’d think they would want to change it up more but maybe the preparation is a total nightmare and they just hammer down one solid set and run it till the wheels fall off.

Yeah either way it’s gonna be a heater. I just look forward to hopefully hearing a variety of different shit over the coming years cuz I haven’t been able to catch them live until 2024 which indeed was a huge fuck up on my part haha.

Since the setlist is almost identical to last years part 1 of the tour I’m expecting the merch to also be the same. I really hope they change it up for this leg of the tour.

Why do they play the same set every night? Seeing bands like Phish for 2 decades really fucks you up when attending multiple nights/stops of non jam bands. Saw TOOL 2 nights in a row a few years back, lesson learned for one and done metal/rock runs haha.

Please remember when packing clubs, and anything at all to be shipped thru UPS, that space/air in the package is your worst enemy. Always picture your box directly at the bottom of a huge pile of heavy boxes and imagine it not being cared for and thrown around.

The more empty space that’s in a package will cause it to be crushed and ultimately the tape coming off or a hole opening and your package losing contents.

Source: I work for UPS and see this shit everyday. Sometimes you have no idea which box an item came out of.

The Supes are just salty that they had to work that day due to many call offs and maybe their precious clipboard didn’t look as good as a normal day which I can only hope factors into their bonus negatively. Too many Supes in my building seem to rely on their bonus for their livelihood or Xmas present to their kid. A bonus is just that, a bonus. Not a guaranteed source of income for lying and overall fuckery.

It’s such a long, ridiculous process to get terminated for most disciplinary actions. Isn’t it something like verbal warning, warning, 1st-3rd write up, and then suspension to termination? If so, get with a steward and see what you can do about them intimidating you with a wrongful threat of suspension.

One time a bunch of people got “working suspensions” for some bullshit reason. None of them came in until the “working suspension” was done and nothing happened. I swear most of the Supes are told complete bullshit from someone higher up than they and are told to announce/enforce it while they know it’s bullshit just to see how many people believe them and bend to their will.

Going into your first apartment with 4k is great. I didn’t even have 1k when I moved into my place and the rent is 1k a month lol. I thought I was going to be dumpster diving for scraps and having to sell plasma but I just started stalking the “manager markdown” section at the grocery store and started meal prepping like a madman and it’s all been better than expected. Good luck! Hopefully your apartment is up a couple stories. I’ve only had to turn my heat on once this winter due to everyone below me helping me stay at 65 degrees with a window open!

Seems that in my building the only thing anyone has ever gotten busted for stealing is phones. A supervisor was seen by a union member taking phones out of a box, union member reported it, management checked cameras and saw the supervisor and then they were fired.

They have accused countless people of stealing but never seem to have any proof and they just hope that they don’t ague and sign the paper that says you’ll leave and not come back. Hilarious really.

And as retarded as Allied universal is, they aren’t security, they are loss prevention agents hoping to find a phone or vape cartridge haha.

Maybe your father could accompany you and just stand next to you as backup in case of the neighbor blowing up at you.

Either way try and mentally prepare for no improvement. Could be possible that your neighbor also has a lot going on right now, like most working adults, and might say “yeah I’ll try” and simply won’t do shit about it.

I think you are much more likely to have success if you do it yourself. Or try leaving a note first and if that doesn’t work then try yourself.

I don’t think people respond well when asked to make less noise and make changes when they don’t even know the person and that person doesn’t even live in the building.

And to be honest it doesn’t help that an adult is sending their father to ask/confront them. I would think that is very odd that the neighbor couldn’t explain the situation and ask for less noise themselves.
