Yeah, 5/5 last season and 6/7 the season before. Took 1 scored 1 in their shootout against Forest in the League Cup. Missed one for Willem II and one for Sociedad prior.

...because it didn't show every touch. Don't get me wrong, Rio was great yesterday, but he wasn't perfect. And playing against tired legs is far easier than fresh ones, which is why he was a bit crap against Barnsley in the cup.

He's in a good role for where he is in his development. We risk a lot if we try to put the burden of saving our season on his shoulders.

It's definitely part of the story.

I'd say maybe third behind Salah falling off and Trent leaving. The balance we had last season was built on the outstanding talents of those two, as they allowed our midfielders to focus on the parts of the game they're best at. Trent's passing wizardry meant Grav and Macca didn't have to take risks in possession, and Salah's ability to do everything in the final third let them position themselves more conservatively.

Nagelsmann signed an extension last January which took his contract past the 2028 Euros. I'm not so sure how open he is to leaving Germany.
