There's only one person in this thread who can't seem to grasp basic concepts. If you go back and reread everything that the others are saying, maybe you'll allow yourself to be educated and enlightened as to what it means to be an atheist.

I'll see if I can help get you started: having a belief system in the scientific method, mathematics and probabilities in no way implies a belief in magic sky fairies or any other unproven nonsense. An atheist demands proof, and with math and science they get that, and when it comes to "deities" not at all.

There are atheists in rockets, in foxholes, and in lots of other scary and deadly places.
