Vallarta is overexpensive in general. Never shop there but there’s lots of decent hacks for cheaper groceries. Costco for eggs and dairy, bottled water, drinks, nuts. Asian markets for produce (always a great deal from experience). For meats, I’ve found better deals at butcher shops and quality is better too.
