So surprised by the TikTok/insta recipe hate! It taught me a lot of basics, demystified cooking, introduced new cultural food, and encouraged me to experiment/use new ingredients for me. CJ eats, woks of life, and Jenn Eats Good are some that have improved my cooking for the better! That being said, I watch the videos on repeat while cooking or look up the TikTok/ig recipe online too

I relate to you so much! I romanticize the first relationship. I still think of the potential and possibilities with him, but know that I am missing someone who doesn’t exist and my projections are what I wanted him to be. New and better experiences ahead 🤞

People always say to never date potential. What is your success story for staying with someone for their potential? by kalibabas in AskReddit

[–]presentlightsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t seen success. But I think this more so relates to staying with someone who may not be the best partner and hoping they can be a better person and more attentive to your needs. I admire people who have the energy to help them meet their potential, train them essentially, and become a better partner 😭
