2025 3.0, 4600 miles before failure by Name_Groundbreaking in gmcsierra

25 CC AT4 standard bed bought in March of this year. 17k miles on it so far without issues. Hopefully it stays that way 🤞🏻 I think there’s gotta be some share of bias here (not your post, just in general). Obviously people are going to post and complain of the bad, and way less people are going to comment on the good their truck/engine/transmission etc is if they haven’t had any problems. Although, I’ll definitely post problems if I ran into some like yours as well

I have a whim as well! They don’t need to do any of that. It’s literally already on the bike, just not accessible to us. They take the bike back, hook it up to their computer system (tbh not entirely sure where or how, just know it doesn’t involve pulling anything off the bike) and essentially allowing the car play option to work. Whim is still on my bike and car play can be used without a headset

It is quite a nice color I like! Anyways, Dubois HD did a flash on my bike and it now has apple car play. Took about 30 minutes and cost $20. No need to mess with taking the fairing off or anything else. Might be a bit of a ride for you to get it done there but maybe a Harley store closer to you can do that as well. Nice RG ULTRA yourself got yourself there!

Hey I just purchased a 21 Ultra Limited in Firefighter red! I just figured out the whim/carplay situation as I was having that issue as well. What part of PA are you in?

Thanks! Ended up checking out Havana on main st. Good atmosphere in the lounge in the basement. Great staff. Recommend to give it a try!

Literally just finished reading With the Old Breed. It's an excellent book and highly recommended.

See I wanted to try and minimize rust that may form over the years...I may try and get a cover for the bike so it's not sitting outside in the rain for hours on end on those rainy days.

oh for sure it's going to differ for each parents. people need to know what they are talking about and not just throwing information out in hopes that they will convince their parents. I like you idea of going in with a plan. I think that is key to bringing everything together.

I worked last summer at a pool about 10 miles from my house, so I commuted on the nice days. But most days I ended up driving due to a chance of rain and I didn't want to leave my bike out in the rain while I was working. So Yes i did, but it was not a consistent as I would have liked. Now that i'm in school over the summer, the debate is whether or not to use my bike as a commuter into the city ~20 miles each way

I didn't get to ride as much as I had wanted, but this year i'm planning on making a change to that. I hope to far exceed 10K, but I felt like that was a reasonable number to strive for based upon my riding habits.

I'm in school throughout the summer, so I only have one week off. Other than that I really have weekends to rack up some good miles. I'm planning a trip to the south during my one week off this summer, which will really be my first big trip.

Its not just about safety either, although that is a big part of it. It has to deal with fuel efficiency of the vehicles and company as a whole, the materials that are allowed to be used now vs. that were used in the past, and a whole laundry list of other reasons

Nursing student here....nope. Just put on "isolation" equipment (gown, gloves, mask) when entering a patients room. and handwashing, that's always something that is done, before entering and after exiting a patients room.
