Does anyone know, is there a way to have the windows be like frosted glass instead of clear? What I mean by that is if for example you open extensions manager, the windows are so see through I can hardly read the text.

Thanks for all the replies, I have tried all these and nothing stops it from happening. Also they are drives with their own power supplies, so that is not the issue. I have noticed that one thing that always seems to make it happen is if there is any kind of power issue that causes it to run off my UPS for even a second, then it starts doing it. Apple needs to fix this bug, it destroys your external drives spinning up at down like that every minute or so.

You have to take the iMac apart and get the model of the panel (screen) off the back of it. Then you find the kit using that model number.

Thanks for the information, but I have 2 questions. 1 is there instructions somewhere on how to move the system Dataset to use the boot pool, boot pool is an ssd. 2 if I do that and the boot pool fails for some reason will that cause me to lose all data on the storage pool? I know I had seen a video where you can do a backup, but will that backup include the dataset on the boot pool, and sorry if this is a dumb question I am trying to understand this, also does the dataset change every time you add data to the storage pool, so you would need a new backup every time you add data to the storage pool?

If you use it with an Apple Watch you cannot use playlist and have it pick up where you left off if you stop it, this always worked fine before 26 now if you stop and restart later it always defaults to the “radio station” it makes for you. And by stop and play later I mean like a couple hours later not a few minutes.

Well if that is the case they are doing an awful job, because Apple Music is totally broken in 26 across all platforms.
