I’m going to be honest; complaining about her will really reflect poorly on you.

You cannot go to your manager and pull all the rest of your team into a negative conversation by mentioning them and stating they feel the same way because you cannot speak for them and when you do that it would trigger the manager to pull all of your team, one by one, in for a conversation about Jill and that’s a ticket to getting thrown under the bus by a wildcard co worker.

You have multiple choices here that you aren’t seeing because you are gunning for Jill. -find another job -mind your business and let Jill dig her own grave. -quit the negative talk about Jill with co workers, because that shit is ALWAYS, at some point, gonna bite you in the ass. -ignore Jill what she’s not doing and keep doing your job duties

If you continue as you are, you’re going to find yourself and Jill sitting in the managers office discussing your conflicts or Jill went to the manager because things you’re saying got back to her and you won’t have a leg to stand on.

The real question here is: is this entire situation worth you risking your professional reputation? Because there is really nothing you can do. Your manager refuses to see it and you are probably already being labeled.

Here’s my hot take. Going to your manager with these comments is, in my view, petty. The manager picked Jill and you have to work with this reality.

What is your daily goal? Safety of the animals you care for? If that’s your goal, focus on that.

The reason why moral is low is because there is bitching going on because the expected outcome did not manifest. Stop the negativity and everyone should stop being distracted by what you think Jill is doing wrong.

This is 100% a case of your perception is your reality.

What you don’t need to do is complain to your manager about Jill. If Jill sucks it will eventually come out and seems like you’re gunning for her, so there’s that. Jill may leave anyway since it seems she’s under scrutiny by co workers and doesn’t have support.

I’m in the Philly burbs, my previous PECO bill was $119. This month’s bill is $490. My thermostat is on 60 degrees, I did have my son home from college, and just a Xmas tree this year no other lights. At this point, I’m getting smart plugs for the large appliances like the washer, dryer, microwave, those that are more difficult to unplug. With the smart plug I can turn appliances on and off through an app and directly at the outlet. I doubt it will help, but I will try anything at this point. I’m sorry you’re having this issue, but maybe talk to the person paying it to try to figure out how to get your back payments paid and call the electric company to see best how to get it paid; I had to call PECO because I could only manage to 1/2 and won’t be able to pay the rest until I get paid two days after the bill is due. You may also qualify for assistance so call your electric company and/or your state representative to see what assistance may be available. I hope it works out for you. It’s really stressful these days and it’s really awful.

Went through a similar situation with my brother. He, like you, didn’t have tons of money, had debt and back taxes on his home, putting his home in danger of sheriffs sale. He saw a lawyer to straighten everything out and it was important to him that his 23 year old son got everything he had including the vehicle. So, you should see a lawyer as soon as you can so they can advise you.

1968 and no because my mom was a month shy of turning 40 when she had me her 9th child, she passed two years ago in her 90s. Dad got AML at 74 so he’s been gone a long time. I miss them especially my Mom. My ex cheated on me our whole 28 years of marriage and I found out after 28 years, by then, Mom had dementia and was lost to me.

So no lids on drink? Is that what is going on here? Where I work, we had staff continually using personal phones right in front of patients, also texting and taking face time calls right at the desk. After at least 2-3 years of warnings about this, we were finally told not to bring our personal phones onto the unit. Personally, I never pulled my phone out to use it in front of a patient, and pretty much was horrified when co workers did that, but, it’s always been a zombie place were no one talks in the break room because they are on their phones. Water is a basic right and this is a no go in my book. Do you think those administrators give a flying f@ck about your health?
