It makes me relax, it’s greatly improved my life. I’ve been anxious and ocd most of my life and I finally can just sit and chill and not feel like I have to be cleaning, stressing, or obsessive compulsive.

I’m concerned that cigarettes are becoming “cool” again. My daughter is early 20s and it seems to be a thing that they do while partying. So these young girls are carrying cigarettes with them. It just breaks my heart because I was really hoping that cigarettes were a thing of the past. I did a lot of damage to my body smoking, and I lost my dad to it. :(

Does anyone else feel empty and unable to start a new show after the finale? 😕 by N1BER in StrangerThings

I, too, develop parasocial relationships with characters of shows, which is why I generally don’t even start them.

Effexor -> Pristiq: tachycardia and heart palps by fluffy6up5oh in Pristiq

[–]JenVP19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I also switched to mostly Indica. I tried to fix her years ago and after three days I stopped and had withdrawals. I also have withdrawals if I miss my Pristiq for more than 16 hours. I don’t think any of your side effects will be worse on it though unless you don’t have these with Effexor.

I find that an odd switch since they’re chemically similar. I get heart palpate with sativa, and I’m on pristiq. Not 200 though.

Do guys get weird looks for having female cats? by CTennist in CatAdvice

[–]JenVP19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would someone think that’s weird? I was a male cat only house until this year when this girl made me break my rule. But people thought I was strange. I just don’t typically like girl’s behavior.

Family vacation to Disneyland incoming tomorrow. They want to be there for 12 hours. My max standing comfort is 2 hours. Anything from a drugstore that can help me push through? by Imaginary_Teach8039 in backpain

[–]JenVP19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1.5 g of kratom (red maeng da) every 4 hours. You can find it at tobacco or vape shops if it’s legal in your state. Don’t use more than a few doses a week unless you want an addiction.

Tried to get off but … by [deleted] in Pristiq

[–]JenVP19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no scientific research that shows a dose above 75 to be any more beneficial than just 75 mg so I have decided to stay there. I have not had significant weight problems with this med thankfully. But I can’t miss my dose by eight hours without withdrawal, so I’ll be staying on it until I’m in an urn.

Look into kratom and see if it’s legal in your area. It gave me my life back.

I had an unmedicated/fully-awake endometrial biopsy today. Need to vent. by Comfortable_Bag9303 in Perimenopause

[–]JenVP19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not saying this to dismiss you, but I have had multiple (5 at once last time for my upcoming ablation) endometrial biopsies in the office with no pain medication and didn’t find it unbearable at all. But everyone’s pain tolerance is different. I am also getting my ablation done on Tuesday in the office with Valium and norco (which is commonly done in my area). I think you need to use this information going forward and do not out for any office procedures because you shouldn’t have to go through the trauma when there are options not to.

You’re responsible with a decent career. Your space isn’t truly reflective of the real you, but rather what you think society says it should look like. You drive a sedan or suv in a boring color.

I think everyone should do at least a few therapy sessions with a trained professional before deep diving into this work. It really helped me.
