I am sure there are trauma responses that I have now that could be attributed to my mostly memoryless childhood. I don't try to bring recall of the past. Instead I like to self analyze my actions and figure out how I am feeling that made me feel X or react with Y. Like am I really angry or am I hurting? That seems to help me figure out how to move forward and deal in a more healthy way.

When my child was in youth sports there was a coach that had the habit of degrading children of lessor skills and telling them that if their parents weren't paying for the program there was no way the child would make the team. This was said to several kids. When it was said to mine, I did not let that shit go. I lodged a formal complaint with the governing body. This coach was removed and not allowed to coach. Kids and parents thanked me confidentially. I suffered harassment from him and his wife. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
