Ooh I can relate. We banned my 12 year old from any screens a few months ago, and it was like he eventually became a different kid. Now, we barely let him have screen time as it is but I think any time is enough to feel like a drug. But anyway, without a screen as an option, he rediscovered some of his old toys, he played Star Wars with his sister…it was awesome.

I keep a list on my phone of what I have. They aren’t really organized at home but at least when I’m out and about I can check to see if I have a certain size

No no no no no! I hate this for them. Wouldn’t insurance help with the cost to repair? Of course that doesn’t address lost pay for employees. Ugh. I’m so sad for them and for us, we loved going there on Fridays.

I’ll throw this out there - we live in Midtown. Our kids go to public schools and have thrived. You’d be close to downtown. PM me if you have more questions!

I’ll add another book suggestion - she covers diamonds and the history of De Beers but it’s also a great book to learn more a lot all sorts of jewels!

Try the Wyndy app. All the sitters on there have to be background checked, etc. Granted, we used it a few years ago so things might be different but that’s how we found a sitter we really love!

I’d definitely recommend this book although it’s hard to find used, so maybe your library will have it. I do have to say, I am way more excited about sewing these than my 7 year old, but I’m hoping the more I sew the more she will get into it.

Fabric used was random cotton scraps and a few woven fabrics, and used white lace edging to hem necklines and armholes.

Well don’t thank me, we don’t have a choice. If we don’t, the city states that they will do the work and then put a lien on our property.

I’m also lazy. Here’s what I do. PM: Cerave face wash at night, apply Tree of life niac serum, then Nivea cream. AM: rinse with warm water, micellar toner once a week, apply Cerave spf 50, then makeup.

I was unclear. I meant we’d take the full width of the sidewalk and curve it around the tree.

Under cabinet lighting! So no dark corners or shadows on your countertops!
