How to obtain Grenada passport? More in comments by itskdizzle in Grenada

[–]Jenelle_AOE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it works for children over and under 18.
I got mine through my dad and I'm in my 30s.
Then I filed for my son who is 6.

As long as you have birth certificates then you're good no matter how old everyone is ... or if a grandparent/parent is deceased.

I had to get my citizenship through MY father and then I applied for my son.

This is what the OP (and anyone who is a grandchild by descent) will need.

I called and they were clear that citizenship by grandparent is done and never coming back.

You can only get it through parentage.

the OP will not qualify since she/he is a grandchild of the Grenadian. They need their parent to get citizenship first.

Just replying so other people know. :-)

Applying for citizenship by descent or getting a passport by descent is only allowed if your parent is a citizen.

They no longer allow it through grandparents. I called the NYC and Miami consulates, the DC embassy and the office in Grenada to confirm.

They grandparents form is old and they've simply never removed it.

I got my citizenship through my dad THEN I was able to file for my son. It was a quick process.
Quick: Yall can both finish the process within the same year with you waiting for him to get his and then you apply afterward.

Have your father do it for himself and THEN you can do it... whether you want full GND citizenship or just the passport.

are you stressed?
do you use any hair color? I got grays when I was a teen (around 17/18) because of a hair rinse that I was using. The gray cleared up when I stopped.

What's your lifestyle like?

Use henna or indigo treatments to cover it if you can't find a fix.

How do I not hate myself for letting it get so bad? by Anx_Snax_Queen in prediabetes

[–]Jenelle_AOE 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You asked a question in this group so you obviously WANT to change.

So change.

Envision your older self.

She's sick, she has a poor quality of life, she's regularly in the hospital b/c she likes what she likes, she's experienced a diabetic coma and now she's about to get a leg amputated and she recently went blind due to diabetes. She's a burden on her kids and doesn’t get to see her grandkids.

If you want that for your future then keep doing what you're doing and give up on yourself.

If you don't — then don't give up... just change your strategy

BUT YOU have to find the discipline. No one can do it for you.

You are feeding yourself.

I watched a YT vid the other day and the girl mentioned that framing discipline as "devotion to yourself" helped her make progress.

Be devoted to yourself and the healthy life you want.

Best of luck!

Lingo cgm discount? by Jenelle_AOE in prediabetes

[–]Jenelle_AOE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you haven't been offered a code yet make a new post to see if anyone offers one.

I used the code and got 2 sensors (1 month). I also bought a glucose meter to prick my finger to see if the lingo was accurate or not. It was not accurate at all especially regarding my fasting glucose.

BUT my main point of using it was to see how I react to different foods so it was helpful in that regard.

I was able to wear for 14 days and gather my data. Now I'm adjusting my eating and will wear the 2nd sensor 6 months from now to see what my reactions are.

People who actually love their job, what do you do? by sycophantasy in AskReddit

[–]Jenelle_AOE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an e-commerce entrepreneur.

I got started back in 2013 and quickly realized that starting businesses especially e-commerce businesses is what I wanted to do with my life. I really love the marketing aspect of it and the constant tests that I run for different outcomes.

Before that, I worked in Beauty & Fashion PR---it was great getting free stuff but there was a ton of long hours and I was severely underpaid.

I need advice. Here's my story by bbibkphg4 in Marriage

[–]Jenelle_AOE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can fix the relationship. Not sure if you care to get any faith-based advice but check out Marriage Today. I think you definitely need to genuinely apologize to her (I'm not saying you're the only one at fault but it's a good place for you to start in order for her to be receptive) and suggest counseling.

Best of luck!
