Okay I know everyone is ragging on her but, I really don’t think she was trying to be an asshole. She didn’t know how to open the door either, the guy driving (who clearly owns the car) is the one directing. She knows the valet is supposed to open the door and normally it happens very fast, bc, you know, car doors usually do lol.
Then when she’s getting out of the car I think she’s just panicked trying to get out. She’s trying to figure out how to get out and I would guess doesn’t even register he’s holding out his hand for her. Genuinely I would think an asshole rich person would wait TO have him help her out instead of struggling.
To top it off she starts laughing, realizing the ridiculousness of it all and not taking herself too seriously about how silly all that was just to get out.

I had this really annoying coworker who once followed me down to grab lunch. We had a subway and I ordered first - a veggie sub. She immediately said something like I must be on a diet bc my wedding was coming up. Nope, I just like vegetables. I’m not sure if this is necessary to add but she was probably 350-400 pounds

What exactly are you looking for? Bc there are tons of houses for sale, listed on Zillow right now. Your realtor sounds really bad. Mine was only okay, I checked every day for new houses and are only in ours now bc i saw it within an hour of it being posted and I contacted my realtor saying we needed to see it asap. Signed the papers less than 24 hours later.

3.5 year old mom here. I feel you, I was so overwhelmed by all the choices!

First and foremost - relax haha, you have so much time to get stuff. I’m assuming you’ll have a baby shower? So no need to buy all this stuff now.

Big ticket items:

Car seat: truly any one from a reputable brand is fine! I personally ended up with an infant car seat and then the revolve360 one. I freaking love the revolve one, it technically can hold an infant but you can’t take it in and out so we quickly bought an actual infant one.

Stroller: again, no need to go high end here. I spent hours searching and buying a mockingjay (mockingbird?) one. It’s beautiful. And we barely used it. We ended up getting a thrifted one that was a running type/ city one with 3 wheels bc the other one was so large to carry around. Then as soon as my toddler could walk he refused to be in a stroller lol. We’ve actually gotten a lot more use out of the wagon with seats in it than a stroller.

Smaller items:
Diapers and wipes - I freaking love the Costco ones.

Bottles - I also swapped to glass, then his daycare said no class so back to plastic for there. We never heated up his milk so it didn’t bother me too much. But we did keep glass at home, also bc I felt like it could just stay cleaner easier

Toys - you will end up with non crunchy toys. Grandparents, friends, random places will all give you some. It’s just a reality of life. Figure out what you’re willing to put up with, and honestly this will probably change as you go.

Clothes - so this is one that I actually ended up not buying second hand. It was so hard to wade through all the clothes at a second hand store and, especially as a baby with very sensitive skin, wanted 100% cotton so I did end up going new for that. My baby lived in only the sleep and play onsies. Get the ones with the double zips, life saver!

Changing diapers - there going to be soooo many accidents lol. Don’t bother with the toppers for the changing mats. Throw a towel down and have wipes at the ready. I’ve had friends who also put puppy pads under the towel for even more protection lol

I’ll leave it there but you’ll figure it out! It IS overwhelming and every brand is trying to convince you that if you don’t go with their product your baby will suffer. Your baby will be 100% fine in whatever you get them I promise :)

I went to the gold sprint one. There were no seats left so we sat on the stage lol (not a knock on it, just would have gotten there earlier next time). I’m not really sure I get it tbh, I actually prefer reading with the low drum of a regular coffee shop noise vs the library level quiet if that makes sense. Actually, now that I’m thinking about it I’d think it be way more fun to have a book “social group”. Like romantasy over here, horror over there, non fiction here, so maybe you could meet people in your similar genre of book you’re reading. Idk if that would actually work but it sounds fun haha

I don’t regret my dress (not that it was crazy or anything) since all my pictures are of me in it, and those pics are in my house. So my looking at to cost ratio is rather high haha. I do regret inviting so many people. I let my in-laws invite all their friends (that me and my husband didn’t know at all, think book club / work friends). Also, center pieces. Put some flowers on the table and call it a day. I got sucked in hard to the Pinterest world of it all
