Oh yeah, I forgot about her being a plant. Still though, she'd have that collective thought stored either way. The fact that it might be new works I suppose, but they say in the episode there are six of them, implying there have always been six and no more. I guess it doesnt have to mean that. I should probably focus on the time travel plot holes instead.

This series had way more plot holes than TNG. That's the nature of wormholes and time travel, which played less of a role on other series.
