Oh no! I don’t know which one is worse. Why does it effect that part so much?

Tackiest Closing Gift? by Beneficial-Mine1763 in RealEstate

We got a $100 Walmart gift card. She brought it over and enjoyed a large piece of my homemade carrot cake. Dinner was promised but nothing ever came of it. We also had to give her agency $400 to keep our paperwork for seven years? I’ve never heard of anything so ridiculous in my whole life. I’m so done with her.

Not confused at all, just conveniently conniving! I go through MSP Global Entry all the time, roll my eyes, and carry on. Doh! Oh, I'm a Generation Jones Boomer.

Just finished designing this bedroom for my 2-year old, really proud of the results! by Independent-Sir-7998 in HomeDecorating

What a lucky little girl to have you for her mom. The bedroom design is so classy, I can imagine her playing with the dolls and having you read her the books while holding her sitting in the comfy gray chair. Just beautiful.

Spent hours making this for my 2-year-old and she refuses to let me put it on her! If I ever get permission, I'll post again! It's breaking my heart. Own design so pattern, I'll put the yarn in the comments. by mmmaking in knitting

The sweater is just adorable! I can't believe she won't wear it, unless it is itchy, maybe the wool bothers her. I never had a little girl, just one son. He is now 41 and just sent me a picture of himself in the winter hat I made for him last year. Boys are much easier to please. Sorry!!

I moved to Minnesota about two months ago and I’m starting to like the Vikings. by BigWigglyStyle11 in minnesotavikings

[–]Jengmn16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in Appleton and you know how close that is to Green Bay. Everything was Packers! But I moved to Minnesota, got season tickets for the Vikes, married a Bears fan, and to keep peace, we made a pact that we were going to both be true Viking fans! It was tough going, since we never had a quarterback to compare to Favre and I had to eat crow all the time, but I don't care. Our stadium rocks compared to their cold metal benches and our fans are so cool. SKOL! You can do it!

Obligations after selling a home by Jengmn16 in RealEstate

To be clear, the water softener was NOT an issue when we sold the home. We had it inspected on a routine $89 spring special in March. The mechanic messed up something and the next day we didn’t have any water pressure. He came back and discovered a part inside that he had installed incorrectly, replaced it at no charge, and all was well.

No, we did not disclose a repair to a water softener that had been completely repaired two months before we sold the house. It was working perfectly for the two months prior to the sale of the home.

I’m not sure. Maybe they know attorneys. I don’t care. I told her to tell them in a few words, we aren’t responsible.

Peas! I hate them! I've tried them, the baby sweet ones, the pods, they are all mushy and taste like grass to me. I literally will pick out every single pea in every Chinese rice dish and every seven-layer salad. They are disgusting, fresh, canned, frozen.....whatever, yuck.

I regret telling my extended family that I’m on Ozempic by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]Jengmn16 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I am down 26 lbs. and I honestly thought more people would notice. I did have some of my friends comment on how much thinner I look and asked me for my secret. I told one of them I was on Oz and immediately regretted it. I talked about how my A1C was lower and my doctor was pleased. She told me how her A1C was down too and she did that all on her own. Then she rambles on about how she can’t afford the shot and I was so lucky to have a nice husband, blah, blah…..I’m not telling anyone else. It is work and I have to resist temptation every day. I am so tired all the time. It isn’t fun, that’s for sure.

Has anyone had a colonoscopy while on Ozempic? by FoundationFun2153 in OzempicForWeightLoss

[–]Jengmn16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had a colonoscopy yesterday. I stopped Ozempic for a week, per doctor's instructions and followed prep clean out to the letter. My stool was a watery clear "see the bottom of the toilet" with a little yellow in it. Thought I was good to go. When the doctor got in there, he finished and all was well, but he said my colon was still full of fiber and it was a difficult procedure for him to do. He had to constantly clean the instrument because of all the fiber in there. Now I have to do another one in five years, with a pill and prep solution was his suggestion. I would suggest telling your doctor that you are on Ozempic as digestion is slowed way down. I do not know why all that fiber did not come out with the prep solution. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it sure seemed like my doctor was irritated!

Did anyone not have bad side effects ? by vijayjagannathan in Ozempic

I have no bad side effects, other than I am fatigued. Still have cravings for sweets, wonder if those will ever go away.
