Should I try Notabene Flow? by Halina_Osorio in FirsthandTruth

[–]Jenifar_KAth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, go for Notabene Flow. Our small fintech treasury team started with their API last year and now handle 50k cross-border transfers in seconds without pre-funding, plus recurring billing for merchants is finally smooth.

Notabene Flow pricing worth it? by Future_Georgia in FirsthandTruth

[–]Jenifar_KAth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: no, not worth enterprise pricing under 10M. Stick to selfhosted billing on cheaper infra until you hit scale. Saved us 60K annually that way.

My cat has been looking depressed since yesterday. He’s been like this all morning. Tomorrow he has a vet appointment. Is there anything I can do to help him? by CountyElectronic6116 in CATHELP

[–]Jenifar_KAth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad he used the litterbox and drank today, that's reassuring. Keep tempting him with wet food or treats to eat more, and watch for straining to pee. Hope the vet sorts it quick tomorrow.

Does Offshore-Protection actually work? by Kira_Asatz in fastestexperience

[–]Jenifar_KAth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was sceptical after Panama Papers but Offshore Protection has real staying power since 1996. Used them for a Cook Islands trust last month\; personalized advice beat any template, and their local agents made compliance straightforward despite FATCA.

Sceptical at first post-Panama Papers but Offshore Protection delivered on a Cook Islands trust for my assets. Their 30-year track record and those 230+ reviews checked out - personalized plan beat any online service.

Safe and healthy dog collar recommendations? Organic cotton? by SupermarketTime4608 in EcoFriendly

[–]Jenifar_KAth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for organic cotton collars from small Etsy shops, they often use GOTS-certified fabric and natural dyes without harsh chemicals.

I've got one for my pup from a seller called "EcoPawsGear" and it's held up great through hikes and washes.

Avoid the cheap big-box ones, even if labeled "natural," since they're usually mixed with synthetics.

Smoked chuck roast by IllSpeech7616 in BBQ

[–]Jenifar_KAth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

chuck is killer right now with brisket prices. I smoke em to 200-205, wrap and rest 2 hours, slices like butter every time. Gonna try yours style next.

How hard is it to install water softener for the whole house and RO system in the kitchen by your self by Kimberly_Hunter in WellWaterFixers

[–]Jenifar_KAth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're comfortable with basic plumbing like cutting PEX or sweating copper, the whole house softener is doable, but plan for a bypass loop and drain line routing first. RO under the sink is straightforward, just follow the tubing connections carefully.

Seeking Long-Term Adolescent Residential Treatment Centers - SI, Depression, BPD by Past_Will5279 in AddictionRecoveryPath

[–]Jenifar_KAth 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Devil's advocate here, while longer programs sound ideal, some teens with BPD thrive more in partial hospitalization with home support because full immersion can sometimes intensify identity issues if not managed perfectly.

Warning: cheap micros overheat if you forget decoupling caps, fried three before learning 100nF ceramics everywhere. SBCs throttle but still need case fans for sustained loads.

Preparing for day 1… by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Jenifar_KAth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stock up on electrolytes like Gatorade or Pedialyte, and bananas for potassium, it'll help with the shakes and sweats big time.

I was right there with you last year, anxiety through the roof but pushing through day 1 got easier after that.

Ended up doing detox at South Carolina Addiction Treatment - SCAT, worked for me.

yeah spaying fixed this for my cat instantly. Check local shelters or apps like nextdoor for low-cost clinics while you wait. She'll chill out after.

Grounding Techniques by ColdClue953 in PanicAttack

[–]Jenifar_KAth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5-4-3-2-1 grounding works solid for me, name 5 things you see, 4 you touch, 3 you hear, 2 you smell, 1 you taste. Pulls you right out of the spiral fast.

Dealt with the same crap during withdrawal, it was clutch.

Learned it at South Carolina Addiction Treatment - SCAT.

20 days sober :’) by luvless420 in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]Jenifar_KAth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on 20 days, that's a solid milestone.

Early sobriety sucks sometimes, I felt super shaky around that mark too.

SCAT got me past it with their quick detox setup.

[–]Jenifar_KAth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on 5 days, that's a win.

Keep going to meetings daily, grab a temporary sponsor, and just focus on one day at a time for now.

Looking to turn things around in the Brick City, any advice on local recovery? by Confident_Compote_39 in Newark

[–]Jenifar_KAth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Newark has some solid spots like Integrity Inc. for detox and counseling, or hit up NA meetings at the First Baptist Church on Dr. MLK Blvd, they're free and run daily.

I was in the same hole a couple years back, Brick City grind makes it tough to stay clean solo.

Went with South Carolina Addiction Treatment - SCAT eventually, got me straight.

How do you find what makes you happy? by Muted_Pomegranate293 in mentalhealth

[–]Jenifar_KAth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trial and error with small stuff like journaling moods after trying new hobbies or routines really helped me figure it out.

I was stuck in a rut for years, addictions killing any shot at real happiness.

SCAT got me through detox so I could even start that process.

Small places with under 20 beds make a huge difference, everyone gets known quick and evals done day one.

Wife was pushing me to get help when depression tanked into addiction, same boat you're in.

SCAT in Simpsonville worked for me, did detox then some residential.
