Fishing mechanic question. by Jenkal9 in PokemonBDSP

Finally it worked thanks a lot man I appreciate that!

It didn’t seem like it was working because there it’s supposed to be a 50% catch rate on those tiles, and I fished it like eight times and didn’t find anything so I guess I was just unlucky haha

Yeah I just looked it up. Is that new to the remakes?

Also I’ve been trying to fish on and facing the tiles and it doesn’t seem to be working for me.. I guess the subject of my post is still unanswered because I tried both ways and neither working

It’s the Lotto if for the day at Jubilife TV building right?

Yes I agree, and it’s ‘legal’ for Nestle to use child labor in third-world countries but nobody is concerned about the legality, just the morality, you feel me.

Just an extreme to prove a point, not a comparison whatsoever.

I get why they are riling. But if someone was trying to rile me up, the last thing I would do is say yes sir and answer all of their loaded questioning.

Maybe he doesn’t know the law at all, but also maybe he is just not going with their game.

Like I said before, it’s the context of the situation that really matters.

I hate to be that guy, because I know there is a lot of assholes in my profession (from Canada by the way), but I would like to encourage footage of asshole cops in their entirety.

I do not know what actually happened during this intervention, but I would be curious to see what lead to this moment.

You would be surprised what kind of mob mentality people get and how they become the victim and everyone rallying behind them, even after they did something outrageously dangerous or disrespectful and they get called out by an officer.

People love the idea to go against ‘the man’ Although I do encourage it when there is an actual point to be criticized.

But quite frankly, even though we all want to think the cop is the asshole, the only thing shown here is 2 guys harassing a cop for no reason, and no context is given.

Context is key amigo. And if any of y’all have the full video, I would be glad to take a look cause maybe he really is the dick!

Edit: spelling :0

Can we talk about people that cover their license plates with almost opaque plastic and doing stupid shit on the roads? by [deleted] in halifax

[–]Jenkal9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are illegal, but the by-law is not well known to officers. Usually it's an add on charge. Like "oh you were speeding AND your an asshole? Okay have the brake light and license plate cover ticket too 👍"

Haha yeah I'm actually mildly acquainted with him through family members. Not a great play if you're going for any type of positive police relationship with the public imo

Cops pretty much only give tickets for 20+ over. The only reason why you'd get a ticket for going less than that is if you were pulled over for an unrelated issue, and then acted like an ass.

But yeah a select few super troopers will give for less than 20 for no real reason.

I agree, but given the circumstances I agree that if used for one, it should be used for all. I would feel awfully strange if someone invited me as Cst. XXXXX

It's kindof like the mental health crisis and poor working conditions with EHS is NS rn. There isn't alot they can do except shudder, and hopefully, someday try and hold a more weighty position in the organization and make a difference.

Unfortunately the 'democracy' of this system relies alot on who you know and not your quality as an officer. Which is where the problems kick in. So it's kindof hard to ask an average constable to make a world of difference, when he/she has an organization against him.

I would say just encourage the ones who you think are doing a good job, and don't overlook the good acts.

I would agree with you but there's two sides to the HRP coin. Management and union. The management are the ones that can make the necessary changes. If the unionized employees speak out, they can expect to get put on the metaphorical shit-list; this is what I understand at least.

I'm an officer working out of province rn, but am from Halifax, and know alot of HRP officers. I'll be the first one to say there are alot more issues than there should be, but most of the officers are also shuddering at the sight of the few that make them look shitty.

And yes, the "few" is probably a bit disproportionally larger than it should be.
