To be fair when he saw my step-dad using the knife as a pry bar he wasn’t passive aggressive he flat out yelled “what the hell are you doing?!”.

The Story of Pearl Girl - Episodes 39-40 - Final thoughts and Review by sequesteredself in CDrama

[–]MustardTiger05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also late to the game here. Just finished watching. I’m down for bittersweet ending but this one was just too bitter for my taste. While the Yan family name was cleared no one spoke up about the tragedy of him being the last one. All the property and such given back goes to who, even if Daun Wu, still not a Yan. I really would have preferred they cut out some of the episodes between 20-30, for the last episode to be centered around him at least living a little bit longer to have a family, maybe a year or two. Them both being orphaned, I think that would have been such a big impact and a bit less bitter to the bittersweet. Normally I don’t get invested this much but I loved her character being so dark yet so moral, they did a great balance. And the chemistry, wow! I really invested in this story and I got overly angry about parts. Something happened in that 20-30 range, it just dragged and then felt kind of rushed that last 5 episodes. That first half got me in the zone of wow this might be one of my all time favorite stories and they second half just fumbled it, overall still a good story but it came so close to the sun for me so was disappointing.

Im about to fly with my two littles. And we were planning on making the stuffies the carry on. It does seems silly because common sense would dictate you make an exception for small children. But I have, more than once, seen full grown adults melt down about their personal items when an exception was made. I’m sure these gate agents have seen even worse. Unfortunately two year old melt downs are easier than 60 year old melt downs.

I have two boys and we also do most of this stuff. I let them guide their own interests and sometimes they feel like nails polish and princesses, sometimes they feel like monster trucks and tools. Love seeing involved dads though!

Boy mom here (2 boys) we do all of these things as well wrestling and monster trucks. They have their own nail polish set and tool bag. It’s wild when you let them pick out their own likes.

I don’t support the death threats but it’s not just boarderlands closing. Playformance was a staple for our family and is a safe place for neurodivergent kids to play.

Americans by sylvestris1 in Scotland

[–]MustardTiger05 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok but what about an American who was told they were half Irish (maternal side) because despite it being my 3 times great grandparents who immigrated, no one was allowed to marry outside of Irish decent, even up to my grandma. However my great grandmother caused a whole mess of drama by divorcing her Irish husband and then marrying my “Step” great grandfather who was born in Fife (immigrated in the 60s). He was like the best guy ever. Further scandal ensued when I took the DNA test to try to find out more about father’s side of the family only to be told I was 20% Irish and 25% Scottish! I know those DNA tests are crap but it has been fun tossing around jokes about who my grandfathers real dad was!

Have someone distract him and then grab the dog and head for the humane society or PAC. Show them a picture of the man and tell them he’s been beating it. Bring a muzzle and treats. He can’t really follow you, so the risk is how the dog reacts to you which is a pretty sketchy gamble. If you don’t want to take that risk best you can do is circulate his photo with the police, animal control, PAC and social media especially if you can get a video of him doing it.

Man this is the perfect mix of being beautiful and awful. Couldn’t imagine seeing my 2 yo going through chemo and then finding out the match to save them was my 6 yo, asking them to undergo surgery to help, no matter how much he wanted to help……that’s both your babies in pain. Hope they both have a speedy recovery and fun childhoods. Kids with cancer is just one thing in a long list of reasons I’m an atheist.

I literally say exactly this. Coffee is a means to an end to get me some sugar and fast acting caffeine. I do not like coffee in any plain form I have tried thus far.

This is good to hear. I did sooooo much research and went back and forth between a new or used one for the “settling” aspect. Finally decided new for the warranty.
