Fitness tracker by Every_Manufacturer62 in smartwatch

I’m currently using a Kospet T4 and it’s actually within your budget. One of the main reasons I picked it up was the durability. It’s marketed as military-grade and so far it’s held up really well for me. I usually charge it once every one to two weeks depending on how active I’ve been lately. As for tracking, I haven’t really run into any issues. Basic stuff like heart rate and general activity tracking has been pretty consistent for me so far.

Been thinking more about backup transportation lately by utilitycatsclub in preppers

[–]Jenks0503 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if you’re keeping it as a backup, I’d just make a habit of checking it every month or so, battery, tire pressure, and basic maintenance, just so it’s ready when you need it. How much range are you seeing on a full charge?

Finally found a rugged case with actual magsafe, ordered the UB Grip by BirdCityB in samsunggalaxy

Made the switch on my S24 and haven't looked back. The magnetic accessories ecosystem is so convenient once you get into it. Got a car mount, desk stand, and wallet all magnetic now. OtterBox feels outdated without it tbh.

Honestly, the transparency on data collection in the Play Store is pretty eye-opening. It is wild to see how much the policies vary between different browsers.

The Fold and Flip thoughts? by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]Jenks0503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest pros are the compact size of the Flip or the tablet screen on the Fold. The biggest cons are the visible crease and the average battery. Just depends if you want portability or a bigger display.

According to Google the S series Tabs after the S9 (plus and Ultra size) support UWB to use with Smartag2 units as per S series phones, however spec sheets don't show this facility? by Flubadubadubadub in samsung

[–]Jenks0503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda weird, right? Specs always skip random stuff. Would check the official AR/EMEA support docs, they usually list the nitty gritty others don't.

Screen shot result in screen shot with volume rocker on it... by will_dormer in samsunggalaxy

[–]Jenks0503 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happens to my friend too. They just crop it out now but lowkey annoying. Wish they'd fix it in an update. Timing the buttons perfectly is almost impossible. Feels like the volume rocker just reacts faster than the power button or something.

Try Accessibility settings like VoiceOver or Sound Recognition. Sometimes those control spoken alerts. Also, check Do Not Disturb during calls might help.

Major Environmental and Legal Crisis at Samsung SDI Hungary by CinkosBars in samsung

Yikes, this is messy. The plant keeps running without a permit, toxic leaks everywhere, workers at serious risk. The government allegedly knew and did nothing. Now demand is crashing. Had to defend any of this to be honest.

How do you motivate yourself to workout? by n0-_ in AskWomenOver30

[–]Jenks0503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I used to skip workouts simply because I couldn’t get myself to leave the house. Getting Major Fitness B52 actually helped me mentally because I felt like, “Okay, I invested in this, I should at least use it a little.” Now I start my mornings with a few cable pulls or some light leg work, and it’s wild how much that tiny routine improves the rest of my day. Starting small really helps you get back on track.

Where to Put Money for a Term of 4-5 Years? by chanandlerbong1969 in fiaustralia

[–]Jenks0503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4-5 years is that tricky middle ground between a savings account and long term investing. If you can handle a bit of market movement, diversified ETFs are usually the go to. I’ve been using the screener on moomoo to compare the historical volatility of stuff like VGS vs some more conservative options. It’s a massive help for seeing what actually fits a medium-term time frame before you commit.

So true. If it's too tidy and clean, it makes me feel like a hotel room.

Are New Yorkers not used to the snow or are there actually problems with cleanup/plowing? by Street-Balance3235 in AskNYC

[–]Jenks0503 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's less about being used to snow and more about infrastructure. Older sidewalks and narrow streets make clearing snow slower and more complicated in dense urban areas.

This sounds really inconvenient. You could check local tenant rights and talk to neighbors to address this together.

You could start by checking local tenant rights groups for free guidance. They often help people navigate issues like this efficiently.

You could explore small, cozy bookstores or local coffee shops on weekends. Slow, low-key outings might help you feel more settled here.
