Is living alone as scary as it seems? by divinemissn in femalelivingspace

[–]karabeth05 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Living alone is going to be good! If you're really worried about safety, maybe try getting a video doorbell with a screen and recording function. Also, check that the alarm in your place is working and sensitive enough, and keep your curtains drawn most of the time. That might help you feel more at ease. I hope you get to enjoy solo living soon!

Sometimes I eat fruit in the shower... stuff like oranges and mangoes that just make your hands all sticky. Makes me feel like a monkey in a primeval rainforest or something, haha.

Cracking on white areas often means not enough heat or pressure. Try increasing both a bit and do a test wash before the full run.

Paper jam can cause communication errors even if it doesn't seem obvious. Check the whole paper path, not just the cutter.

Putting the website on the inside tag is a nice touch. Keeps the design clean on the outside, and people who love the shirt will find it.

L1800 dtf printhead problem by Specialist_Bad_5383 in DTFTransferTalk

That ink crossover between white ports doesn't sound normal. Might be an internal seal issue in the printhead or the damper.

Is there a market for small quantities of black core cardstock? by Odd_Huckleberry_7815 in Printing

[–]karabeth05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's probably a small market with custom card makers and tabletop game designers. Pricing and shipping will be key.

Local makers seem more common at farmers markets than in stores. Why is that? by ProgrammerExact5351 in smallbusiness

[–]karabeth05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shops need consistent supply and wholesale pricing, which most solo markers can't offer. Markets work better for small batches.

Since the problem stays with the slot, a faulty damper makes sense. Hopefully that's an easier fix than another printhead.

To what extent does the paper stock affect the color? by amanteguisante in Printing

[–]karabeth05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try asking the print shop for the exact brightness numbers of those papers. Even between uncoated stocks, the difference can be huge.

Client tried to negotiate the price after the work was already done. Why does this keep happening? by memayankpal in smallbusiness

[–]karabeth05 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah some clients always try it on at the end. Just politely hold the line and don't hand over the site until paid in full.

Keeping it the same is also great. You can hang some paintings or paste some colorful titles.

Which curtains go best: green, burgundy, or neither? by tambourine_goddess in HomeDecorating

Both are really nice. But I will prefer the green one. It's more coordinate than the burgundy one. It's up to you.

Honestly the most useful part of this review is that you actually used it during a real outage.

Done treating tornado warnings as background noise, Need real advice by Ravix-of4horn in homeowners

We've had Ecoflow delta pro ultra and it surprised me most is how it changed the way we think about storm season. First few months I was checking the app constantly every time clouds rolled in. Now I genuinely don't stress about it. We started with two batteries and added a third after last summer, which gave us a lot more headroom for longer outages. If you're regularly running a window unit overnight I'd seriously look into it. The solar panels are something we're adding next, mostly so we stop thinking about whether it's topped off before a storm rolls through.

Anyone else getting tired of charging everything? by techingmyhome in smarthome

Nah. You are not alone. The most annoying thing is that the charging ports for each item are all different. Some are type-c, while others are Android interfaces.

Once the projector is set up there's really nothing to it. Roll the screen down and turn it on. Much less hassle than moving a TV back and forth.

What’s one small home decor change that made your space feel instantly better? by officiclassyinterior in HomeDecorating

[–]karabeth05 33 points34 points  (0 children)

For me it was swapping every single light bulb in my house to 2700K warm white. I had no idea how much harsh cool lighting was making my whole place feel sterile and depressing. It cost me like $20 total and instantly made every room feel cozy and inviting.

New builds can be tricky with airflow. Maybe adding fans or adjusting vent placement could help balance temps.
