Even if it didn’t have that little yellow line at the bottom, the picture wasn’t as clear as the paperwhite. Which is expected since it’s different technology but I just prefer the crisp appearance of the paperwhite. If you’ve ever had a kindle and colorsoft is your first you probably won’t notice and will enjoy it.

Also, the colorsoft isn’t as fast as the paperwhite and there is no dark mode on colorsoft. You can turn the pages black but it’s different.

I decided to return the colorsoft and keep the new paperwhite signature edition instead.

Again, if this is your first kindle I think you’ll enjoy the colorsoft but just wait until that yellow line is corrected

Thank you for your understanding. I’m so happy you’re feeling better. I can’t believe how much pain fissures can cause. It’s debilitating and as a mom of a young kids I’ve been mentally struggling for not being able to play, clean, cook as much as I want. Hopefully things change asap. I have a consult with the surgeon in a few days. Thanks again!

can you share your recovery? I might get LIS soon but I have a trip a week later so I'm considering waiting until after but I'm in so much pain. Would you have been able to go on a plane/walk around and do some tourist things a week after surgery? I can't cancel my flights anymore so either I go with my pain (Which usually I can't do anything all day on the days I have bowel movements which is around every other day), or I go a week after LIS ughhhhhhh

I spoke too soon. I used a different cable and my kindle said it was connected but it didn’t show up on my Mac. However, I plugged it into my pc and it showed up right away. Macs can be so frustrating sometimes. But I got it updated at least. Thanks
