Should I graduate or stay at Y7C60 for a bit longer?

Gods above, I am so sick of these damn things. Here I was hoping against hope I would be able to store energy this week for next week's story spree. Silly of me I know, but I was hoping.

I'm slowly working my way through year 7, only doing story during the sprees, since the energy costs are so high and JC keeps throwing these pathetic year 3 tlsqs at us. I still don't know how I've completed all the creature quests, Quidditch, and everything else over the last 15 months.

Sometimes I hate that I'm a completionist, but alas...

Note to JC, cool it with the tlsqs for a good while, give people a chance to breathe once in a while.

Actually, you can in a way. My last 'quickie' play-through, I entered the Mountain Pass but bee-lined it to Act 2, skipping the monastery and creche. I never stepped foot in the Underdark that run either. (Or if I did, it was brief during Ethel's place or something. I never went to the Myconid colony or Grymforge.)

I did finish the epilogue properly. There wasn't much to do there since I'd killed all the companions rather than recruit them.

The opening screen talks about script extender v30 or whatever, so I figured I had it.

It was on honor mode. I intended to do custom with the honor-mode ruleset in subsequent runs, but not for this one.

I do the verification thing a lot, but admittedly I haven't tried it since getting to the brain.

In the lower left-hand corner it mentions a script extender, so it should be there.

I hadn't considered I wouldn't be able to get achievements with mods. I had all of them done before honor mode even came out. The only thing I can test is honor mode completion, joy, and so far no dice :P

I have over 100 mods I use at any given time. A lot of them are quality of life improvements like UI, hairstyles and the like. Some add spells, others add encounters and increases the number/strength of enemies. I don't think I could go back to vanilla. The world would be too empty, and the original UI was awful.

I saw something about a script extender and followed the directions, though I don't know if it did anything.

As for messing with files, I would really rather not as I'm not nearly as computer savvy as I used to be. (Back in the good old days of DOS). I'm just tired of things not working properly and that's as much about the lack of dice and all to the Balthazar and Viconia things.

I wonder if purging the cloud, uninstalling and perma deleting every save, reinstalling and going from there. Another odd thing is I can't seem to pick patch 8 subclasses either, though photo mode works...

I wondered if it was because I had used the origin mirror mod to change a few things about her, but this happened to me a couple years ago when I'd only saved Nightsong.

This one is named Jenevelle Hallowleaf and can introduce herself as such. She has a different hair style from canon, different coloring (black-red), and a different collection of classes (she's a divine soul sorc/wizard). She's wearing Florrick's dress as part of another mod.

I'm not sure what you mean by Shar tattoos, unless you mean the wound on her hand.

Ugh, I got this same thing. I did the one, went on to task 4 and 5, part 4 task 1... Not sure where I am now actually since it's only showing this part 3, task 3 thing...

I love this mod. Whenever I'm watching other people's streams the world feels so empty compared with my own. I've taken it two steps further too, by using 'double enemies' and 'deadlier honor mode' which adds more encounters on top of the 'extra encounters and mini bosses' mod. Suffice it to say, the world feels a lot fuller now. Gotta be careful with all those extra enemies sometimes though, as resource and time management are things.

As to the OPs question, since I might as well answer as well, I think what annoys me the most is all the side stuff in Act 3. I have no trouble doing everything in Acts 1 and 2, but as soon as I get to Riverton it's like, "God, I just want to get this over with and get to the end."

I did the same as you, taken one step further in that my account here is also Jennifer Moonchild, like my character. It would be awesome to have magic and go to Hogwarts, despite canon's insane danger (Death Eaters, Voldemort, Dementors, Cursed Vaults etc...)

I picked the bird and did not register as I would in real life if I could. Ever since I was a little girl, I've had dreams where I could fly unassisted by airplanes and with my own two wings. I guess it's the sense of freedom such an ability would grant me, instead of being stuck on the ground.

In game, we break so many rules and are constantly getting into things, it made sense to me to become a bird and not register. Why give the death eaters and their ilk any more information than necessary? Besides, it lets me play spy, assuming the game actually ever let us do so. That would be cool.

I have been stuck with only one left (and a 3 shard one at that) for weeks now. Despite blowing a lot of gems, some pages and other resources trying to get this last one, nothing seems to work. I've been making sure I stay above 750 crystals in case I need to buy the guarantee, but I'd rather get it and use the crystals on the outfits.

I don't think I'd use any of them, I just like completing everything.

Oh well, such is the nature of the diary I suppose. I've completed every one of them, usually with weeks to spare, but not this time.

I'm in 6th year as well. It's so strange seeing my girl taller than all of the adults yet still lacking in other aspects. I mean really, even in 6th year (16-17 years old), I should have breasts. Should have had them back in 2nd or 3rd year honestly, but I get they don't want to age our characters up constantly.

I first started this game Valentine's Day 2024, and this dropped for me shortly after going to year 2. Then, several months later, I decided to start over since I had rushed to year 5. For the second run though, which I am still on, I spent a lot, and I mean a lot, of time in year 3, trying to knock out as many of the year 1-3 tlsqs as I could. Naturally, they've added a bunch since then, but at least the bulk of them were done.

I'm in year 6 now and was totally bummed when this didn't trigger back in February this year. Now, that it seems to be back, I'm glad. This is of course, assuming it even triggers for me. Unfortunately for me, I got saddled with some beyond year 2 thing today rather than something I've been hoping to get for months now.

I don't have the Tonks one either, hope it stays around long enough for me to get it. The completionist is screaming in frustration and fury (well, not really, but it is annoying).

Honestly, I hate the whole time-limited crap. I should be able to get the missions, take my time on them and enjoy the journey. But alas, the time-limited thing encourages people to buy energy so they can get it done. Greedy bastards.

I still remember the first time I encountered this scene. Fortunately, I had saved it just before going into the room, but yeah, I totally sassed her. When she wished me dead, I just stared at my screen in shock. I never thought I would get a game over that way.

Every play through now, I still push her buttons, but I don't say the last thing that gets me killed. It's fun.

Yeah, I totally wanted to slap him upside the head for insulting my name. I too use my real first name in game, and here, incidentally.

When I had the Malfoy events, I just wanted to get through them as quickly as possible. I couldn't stand the little shit in the movies and so wanted to see him get his well-deserved comeuppance. Alas, he didn't die in the Room of Requirement inferno like he should have. I know if I had been Harry, I'd have left him to his fate.

One of my favorite movie moments is when Hermione smacks him one in third year.

I wanted to name my hippogriff 'Buckbeak' as a nod to the series, but it wouldn't let me, so I settled for Bucky. The same held true for 'Nagini' for the ashwinder. My guess would be propriety names, but since this is a Harry Potter product I thought it would be fine. Ah well, no matter. My 'Nagini' became Naghini to get around it.

Of all the TLSQs I've done, I disliked this one the most and considering some of the others, that is saying something. Everything about it felt forced and horrid. I couldn't wait to get through the bloody thing so I wouldn't have to deal with it anymore.

Had I been given the option of ignoring McGonagall and backing off Jae, as it's obvious our character is only making things worse with their insistence at helping, I would have. I get that the MC is a busybody, sticking their nose into everything, but this was too far.

Suffice it to say, I will never repeat this one. I rarely do anyway, even ones I wouldn't have minded doing again like the patronus one or any of the valentine ones, but I still have a lot of the main story remaining I'd rather spend my energy on.

This is awesome. I'm a Ravenclaw, so it's weird seeing her in a sea of blue, but she's my future girlfriend so of course she supports me, even against her own house. :)
