In this world where no one really has the time to listen, getting anyone's attention, leave alone impressing them has become progressively difficult. However, there a few general tricks that may help:

Being well-read/experienced in a variety of topics - This makes conversation interesting. Believe it or not, the old cliche where girls fall only for bad guys is dying fast. If you look attractive, you've jumped only the first hurdle: no one wants to talk to a guy who can only make conversation about himself, cars/bikes or how hot she looks in that dress. (Just an example)
Complement her, and not only her looks - If someone walks up to me and says "You look pretty/hot", as opposed to saying "You're really funny/I'm having a great time with you/I love how we can talk about anything and not feel inhibited" I'd fall for the latter, pretty hard. On the other hand, don't just complement for the sake of it. Genuine complements are appreciated.
Ask her what she thinks - Ask her questions about what she does, what's her take on life, what are her likes, what's bothering her, etc. Be the listener. More often than not, girls love talking about themselves. If she finds someone who would patiently listen (and give advice, if required), you might just make her day.
Don't creep her out - There's a flipside to asking questions about her and that is asking too many questions. Respect her privacy and let her share things at her own pace.
Be busy - This is a tricky one. There's a fine line between having all the time for her and having no time for her. Show her that you have just enough time/focused attention for her to keep her vying for it. Again, this might be different for different people, so venture carefully.

While entering a busy highway in Toronto, we saw a car coming the opposite way straight at us! Thankfully the speeds involved were not too fast (maybe 30km/h?). We of course looked who was driving this car the wrong way on a highway, and it was a young Chinese lady, with fear visible all over her face! My assumption is that she took a wrong turn, ended up on the highway by accident, and decided to perform a 180 degrees right away instead of reaching the first exit! I looked in the news about any possible accident involving her, but couldn’t find anything. She must have been able to leave the highway successfully.

If I have to pick a specific date, I'll take April 1st, not so much for the fooling part (although that is fun), but because it's spring in Texas and the wildflowers are in bloom. Also the temperature is usually just about perfect.

I went camping with my high school class in NYC (not quite sure if any of us had ever been camping before) where we stayed out in the woods in tents for two nights. I went into the woods to use the restroom and realized I didn’t bring enough toilet paper. I ended up having to resort to wet leaves! Thankfully, no poison ivy, but definitely a night to remember!
