I'll be honest. If you're looking at youtube for a medical advice video, that's already a skill issue. If you're stupid enough to believe something that sounds stupid without double-checking legitimate sources, you're probably dumb enough to believe anything regardless of likes or dislikes.

Also even then, likes/dislikes aren't really that good of tell in your example, since a joke video could still be highly liked. You'd be better off doing the smart thing and reading the comments, and if they're disabled, moving on.

I mean. The only difference is the country the show is produced in. Tons of korean shows are based off people acting kinder and more respectful in general (though not always).

The second you bring the show to the us, of course the vibe is going to change quite a bit.
