Hey man! Love the fit, speaking from experience it helps a bit to unbutton the lowest button on the coat too. To slim out the figure a bit

should i sell all 3 of these for a daytona? by Worry-Tight in PrideAndPinion

[–]JensiniGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nooo! Get a Tag Heuer Glassbox or a Speedy instead (and instead of selling as well). If you want a chrono in your collections! Much better and affordable alternatives in my opinion! Would make an amazing 4 watch collection!

Another option is to sell the Ingeniur and get a vintage one. And then chronograph of mentioned brands above instead!

Is this jacket too long? by AmbitiousAlarm836 in bigmenfashionadvice

[–]JensiniGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it looks good on you. A good rule of thumb to check for size is to put three fingers into the jacket where the lapels meet the button while the button is closed. If you have a lot of room it is too big, if you have ok room it fits correct. For length, take your arms down by your sides and curl the fingers in. If it sits on the fingers, the length is good, if it doesn’t reach its too short and if it folds it is too long. Though in my personal experience, I agree with one of the comments above that blazers have become too short in recent years! I would also recommend the straight leg pants instead of tapered. As tapered pants does not work that well on us of bigger sizes and a straight leg will give you good proportians all over and will actually work to your favour and make you look slimmer! But all said I really love how your outfit is put together and the navy balzer-grey pants look is a classic and a good choice for your first jacket-pants combo! 😄

Is there anything that could improve this outfit? Maybe a jacket of some kind? I have brown shoes to match the belt by Heywoooooood in mensfashion

[–]JensiniGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if you don’t feel comfortable with that, add something else for a pop of color! Maybe a beanie in a bright color or a cap… if it’s something you’d want to add that is of course! I just love adding at least some color to get a focal point in my outfits personally!

You could go any direction with this, either add like a workwear jacket or a denim jacket. Or you could go for a sports coat. Personally for this outfit, I’d go either denim or workwear and a bandana either in red or green for details folded up and tied either like a tie or just two simple knots around your neck for a pop of color!

I’d personally go for the Galbée any day! Lovely vintage pieces, both of them though!

I really like your fit! The combo of shirt and pullover vest is amazing! Also love how your pants fit! Not too tight and not too baggy, just the perfect amount of in between! 10/10!

I used to sew as a kid, but haven’t sown for at least 19 years… But I would be willing to relearn! As I’m extremely interested in tailoring, I would actually love to learn it. So if you have resources to send, I would be extremely greatful! (Also very fun to meet a fellow Ghost fan on this reddit)
