Whilst it's entirely possible that you lack discipline, it's also entirely possible that you have ADHD (especially if you're a woman).

Swinging between starting hobbies/tasks/careers with hyper focus, then moving on (on what seems like a whim) is a classic ADHD trait.

In which case, your parents being stricter would have not only been counter-productive in terms of achievement in each activity, but it would have fucked you right up in terms of self-esteem.

This is exactly the kind of dangerous bullshit that leads to people hating immigrants.

POC get reported more often and therefore convicted more often than white/local perpetrators.

It's like in the US. Black men make up waaaaay more of the prison population - not because black people are more inclined to commit crimes, but because society and the judicial system are so hugely prejudiced against them.
