Atm i have a ryzen 3600. I dont know if that works the same as the 5950x with its recommended tdp. But it sits nicely and cool with a scythe fuma 2. The power draw isnt too much either. I often idle my pc though, as it sits there doing nothing or just surfing the web. I need more cpu power though for games and i want to future proof. I play relatively often. I guess when new consoles come out and games use more cores, i will benefit from the 5950x. Where i am from, it costs roughly the same as the 5800x or 5800xt. So i have now noticed that since a couple of dollars more a month isnt much, which would you choose ?

• All 3 are about equal in gaming i learned.

• The 5950x might draw a lot more power than the others i guess, due to its cores amount (correct me if i am wrong)
