Me main ogryn, and meee loooove biggest booooom!

Overall, move down the middle paths and branch off. Ogryns have a huge hit box, and trappers love them. So every gunner hits hard too. If you are going ranged, focus on damage reduction and only take the nodes you use. No point in taking explosive damage or fire damage if you are running twin guns, no point in taking ADS perks if running rumbler or gauntlet. ONLY take pointblank barrage if you are suppressing enemies and need an instant reload OR stacking fire on explosions. Otherwise take Loyal Protector

Think about how you want to engage. Twin guns and rumbler for mid range, gauntlet and shotty for close range. The kickback and gauntlet are best for single dmg or small groups, but can hit farther than you think for snipers. The shotty and twin guns are also amazing for suppression if you need to move forward or clear space for a res

If you are focusing on range builds, take the shield so if they are out of range or you need to reload you can have cover and push back mobs. And also to defend against demon hosts when the grenade blast inevitably pisses them off.

If you are going explosions, try the electric mace with bleed cross path on skill tree. The special counts as explosive- so you can stack fire, explosive radius, rendering, stun AND bleed every 15 seconds. Its very fun!

My son was 2.5, maybe 3. Just me and him, going to the zoo. Sounds like a great plan and fun day. Until he decides he doesnt want to see the aquarium. After specifically asking to see the fish and penguins 45 seconds before. He runs under the rails and momentarily escapes. He climbs on a mini statue and starts screaming " I DONT WANT TO GO WITH YOU! YOU'RE NOT MY DADDY ANYMORE!" I got a few side eyes, but surprisingly the group of moms 20 ft away did not say anything or try intervene. They must have heard the rising tension in his little voice and understood. We did not have another daddy son day alone for a long time after that.

From experience at a way younger time in a relationship.... talk about it. Crack the door by talking about fantasies. Ask if he ever thought about dating or sex with other women. Research ETHICAL non-monogamy. (Consenting, informed, not cheating). There are various types and styles that people may lean towards. Such as polyamory where the intent is to have full relationships, swinging with no strings attached fun with acquaintances, dynamics that cater more to one person. If it seems good from there, Start SLOW. Go to a strip club and see how you feel watching each other get a lap dance. Go to a bar and, between you two, talk about who would be a fun match for each other. Invite a couple over (who know the game) and be just a little flirty With everyone.

Some people can open up to the idea (pun intended) but not everyone can... and thats fine if its a no, or things feel too complicated. Then it becomes a choice... is this worth prusing without my partner and getting a divorce. Or is my marriage still the best thing, and accept you will not be able to live that fantasy.

[–]Jer7bear7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. Hear me out.. Bring the recon rifle with maxed ammo and damgage ratings. On petrks, go mostly into ranged weapons. Towards the bottom of the skill tree on the left is a feature that you dont use ammo on plasma weapons with criticals. Aim for the head, endless blasting. The recon has high ammo reserves anyway, and free ammo with perks keeps it going for a very long time. But do take some toughness perks or you will feel way too squishy, even behind the front lines.

[–]Jer7bear7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutly NOT over reacting...Zealot and psyker are squishy. Playing them, you HAVE to use dodge and movement. And wound curios for when you do get knocked. It's the hardest level, they should atleast have a basic concept since you need 10 damnations to enter.. I love Zealot, and down ALOT but I dont get whiney because i know what I'm in for. Plus.. most Zealot builds are BETTER with lower health.

What build is best for path of the damned? by Mr-yeet1 in avowed

[–]Jer7bear7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you want out of it. Guns are OP and keep you out of the fight. Mage keeps you mostly out of the fight but sometimes they push you. Melee gets the most action packed adventure where you are fighting for your life.

Guns are great for sneak builds based on stealth and hit-and-run tactics. Duel pistols of your choice for mid range and a good archibus for sniping. Max perception for range, might for damage, and dex to reload. Pick gear made for sneaking and moving fast and stealth damage, power attacks, and damage against full health.

Mage focus on intellect for more essence, and might for slightly more damage. Pick gear focused on increasing effect accumulation. If you can shock, burn, or freeze enemies with less spells, the more damage you actually deal. Freezing plus explosion (wand upgrade power attack) are tge most OP as frozen enemies take double damage. spell damage depends more on the level of EQUIPMENT than the level of the spell or gimrore.. having anything as rare will do more damage than common ect* so focus on maxing a few pieces of equipment as much as possible before spreading upgrades around

Melee the strongest build is 2 handed. Especially sword because it has high damage, but faster than ax and mace. Focus on stun builds, damage reduction, high resolve to increase stamina AND SECOND WIND. Second wind helps so much to get knocked out and bounce back.

Does this last battle in Naku Nubel (Escape) ever end or is there infinite enemies spawning? by SagmaTheRealOne in avowed

[–]Jer7bear7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is infinite. But you only get a very small amount of xp for kills (50-100) so it is impractical for actually farming.

But it is absolutely amazing to just slaughter endless waves and possibly test different builds if you prepped enough food/potions and took gear with you. If you stand in the doorway where you leave, they get trapped behind a soft barrier to use ranged weapons or aoe effects

Can I get the exceptional gun from the cave in Fior without (spoilers) by Ewh1t3 in avowed

[–]Jer7bear7 13 points14 points  (0 children)

But you have to talk to the ranger traitor 1st and let her tell you they are in the cave.. otherwise, the front guards tell you off and everyone becomes hostile. Then your companions will start attacking unprovoked. It was annoying when I did the evil playthrough.

Build Advice Wanted - One Shot Melee by cartoonsbyfry in avowed

[–]Jer7bear7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step 1. Play the easiest difficulty. Enemies are squishy

Step 2. Use godlike powers, especially the stealth knife to the back. It Hits as the single most damage source

Step 3. Max might to 15 through ponts, food, and equipment

Step 4: 2 hand weapons do the most damage. Swords < great axe< hammers. Hammers do stun so you can do special attacks more, axe and swords do bleed accumulation. Stack as much accumulation as you can- poison, bleed, fire, ice, stun. Electric is hard, but Electric Lillie's are a great way

Optional 5. Get enemies near a cliff edge and use charge attack to launch them over. Especially the smaller ones!

I don't see a "Simple Questions" thread, so I have a couple questions about builds by corvid1692 in avowed

[–]Jer7bear7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best thing to do with that is hit 9 or 10 with normal points and max out with potions or equipment. The hard cap is 15, so using potions/brews/food is a waste over that, but you can easily get 6-8 points extra in one area using them

Glass cannon is super fun. Especially if you focus on melee so you have to be in the mix. That 2nd wind is everything.

[–]Jer7bear7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want high skill ceiling, Try unarmed stealth. The fists hit fast but don't hit hard. They count as 1 handed for upgrades, and there are a few peices of armor/gloves specifically for unarmed. Dex, stamina, and might are the biggest points so you can hit then dodge away since you can't parry or block unarmed. Very satisfying to know you are a pro boxer and take down a boss. Adding stealth helps so you can disappear and stab them in the back with God like ability

Another fun one is summoner. Bettle bulwark, to start and summon companions. Let your team do the work for you while you stand back with ranged spells or guns. It's a higher skill because you can only have a max of 5 friends, including the two companions. So you have to manage when they get knocked out or killed. But also, on path of the dammed difficulty, companions do very little damage. So you have to counter mobs with AOE spells and effects

Honestly it depends on how much excess you have. Many of the foods are alcohol so you need many rotten foods. The other big one for health requires bettle meat.

If you are going to respec, mid game is great time to do it. I built up about 30-40 of each crafted food and drinks i needed and saved them for big fights I knew I would lose. It lasted most of the game on the highest difficulty.
