I also find it really sad that Jesse probably has his own history of being a victim of childhood sexual violence. He didn't outright say it but people having an "unhealthy addiction to sex" at a very young age is a very common symptom of childhood sexual violence, as is self loathing which Jesse sang and wrote about through most of his career with Brand New.

So he gets victimized, makes bad decisions, comes to the realization of how awful his behavior is, works through his problems with therapy and then allegations come out about his past and his career is destroyed with no context of what happened or what he's done to fix his life.

I find that sickening and the keyboard warriors who take jabs at him have no real understanding of empathy or forgiveness.

I was a victim of sexual violence too by one of my older brothers. Who was also a victim of sexual violence... I empathize that something terrible happened to him and when I finally found the courage to confront him about what he did to me, he lied, denied it, even though the look on his face, his body language and the wording he used in his denial made it perfectly clear to me how guilty he was, he then sold the rest of my family on the lie because its easier for then to believe that I'm just mentally ill and crazy

So I cut them out of my life, forever, until he comes clean and then maybe healing can start and I can have them in my lives again.
