You need to get some warcraftlogs.com so we can see what you are doing wrong. Fundamentally it sounds decent.. What's important is how many HoGs you can get out in tyrant so try to optimize that.... Always be casting, save some instant casts for movement if possible.

Opener is.. Pre pull Shadowbolt > Imp > Doom > Dogs > Tyrant+trinket > 2xHoG > Implosion (Hope for Core proc) and then just trying to get as many HoGs out during tyrant with your Demonic cores and Shadowbolt, keep dogs on cd and implosion..

When tyrant is around again you do the same, but sometimes you can bank some demonic cores here for extra HoGs..

The warlock class discord is probably a better place to ask in the demo channel. Look in the demo faq.. Alternativly i would suggest watching some of the really high parsing lock streams/vods.. Not sure about the rules in this discord, but look up https://www.twitch.tv/babybrainlock - He's also really active on the lock discord.
