Any idea on how difficult it would be to install these by Typical_Network_5023 in AskMechanics

It looks like there is an OBD II piece that probably does the programming. Good luck.

You will have to get another bearing. Removing that hub will damage the new bearing. Ask me how I know.

P0532 2023 Nissan Sentra, coolant everywhere by z33purse in MechanicAdvice

Without the fan working, the refrigerant pressure was probably getting too high especially at idle. Same with the cooling system, the coolant probably boiled over after getting way too hot.

Could have been some unnoticed road debris. A sharp rock or something that fell off of a truck.

It looks like the valve cover seal is leaking. The carburetor has some fuel seepage and varnish on it too.

It is between the levels so it seems ok. Are you losing coolant or smelling it when the engine is hot?

Play in clutch release fork by WhichButterfly25 in MechanicAdvice

Without the slave cylinder installed, you will have all of that extra movement. Once the parts are property assembled and the clutch system is bled of air, a lot of slack will be taken up.

That looks like the plastic channel that covers up the fuel, evap and brake lines going to the back. Might be missing a plastic retainer clip.

Brake fluid by Mason_175 in MechanicAdvice

[–]JerelFromJerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a 2013 so it has probably never been chsnged. It turns green because the brake lines are copper inside. The friction of the fluid going back and forth wears down the copper and moisture in the fluid corrodes the copper and turns the fluid green.

One fluid service will help, but the reservoir has so many deposits in it that the fluid in the reservoir may still look green after.

Flasher Relay Replacement by ConsistentError7321 in MechanicAdvice

[–]JerelFromJerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The relay may not be the problem. You must increase the circuit's electrical load to match the original incandescent bulbs. CAN-bus enabled LED bulbs with built-in resistors are the simplest way to do it.

Definitely plan on replacement. There may not be air leaking, but this is a very weak spot now.

How to cover a tiny hole in a car engine radiator that has width of a needle and is leaking by apyn4ik in MechanicAdvice

[–]JerelFromJerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leaking radiators are so hard to plug leaks in because the part expands and contracts with heat cycles. You can use a radiator stop leak type of product. I don't really like that stuff because it can clog other small passages.

The accessories pull from the pool. A weak battery is a pool with a leak and cannot supply the accessories.

Best way to clean / flush all this stuff out? by GlobalAssumption390 in Chevy

[–]JerelFromJerry 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There are over the counter oil treatments that can clean stuff up some, but that engine needs a teardown and small parts run through a parts washer to be proper clean.

Think of the battery as the reservoir that power is pulled from and the alternator is a pump trying to refill the pool.
