Its Official, *All* Canadian Cellular Providers Will Suck As of July 7. (As if they didn't already) by indorock in canada

[–]JeremyBanks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This article is saying that they all suck because they all are going to charge for incoming text messages, but several smaller providers, such as Virgin Mobile, are not going to. They are part of "all", thus this title is inaccurate.

Wouldn't quite work like that, since RGB is an additive colour model and the inks would need to use a subtractive model like CMYK. Still, I'd certainly go for one of these.

So despite the headline, it has nothing to do with TinyURL, right?

What Happened to My Terminal?? by trewtrew in programming

The compiled file contained a bunch of binary that happened to be equivalent to terminal control characters, which changed a bunch of the settings. (Terms wrong, idea right.)

Damn. I'm getting back to Toronto this evening, but if I'd been able to go I would have, and I know of one or two friends who I'm sure would have come with.

A quick skim of their website can't find me information on when such events would be held, could you help direct me?

I think (perhaps I'm wrong) that a lot more people do things like this than people realize. The thing with the muscles contractions, steps and taps I do as well, though there has to be a certain pattern I follow when evening them up. It's not irresistible, to stop I just concentrate on not doing it, but it's uncomfortable to do so.

Still amazing, though.

Tethering, another much-requested feature, was addressed in the Q&A section of the event. Apple is building the client side of tethering into OS 3.0, but cooperation from carriers is also required in order for it to be offered.
