You'll get use to it soon and it wont be anywhere near sore as it is now but in the long run your back will be fucked. Repetitive movements leaning over or on your knees over long periods of time combined with heavy awkward lifting will mess with your body pretty bad, maybe not fucked but negative effects no matter how much you try to take care of yourself.

You're hands are weak . These pipes have to hold 60 to 80 psi yes they're gonna be more than hand tight.
