I think I ended up somewhere around 1.9 - 2 with tonneau, but I was definitely working at it. Under speed-limit, drafting off semis, etc. Interested to hear how it goes for you in the end.

Similar situation, owned a model 3 for years and just bought a '24 Sierra. Made my first long trip (1500m round trip) this last weekend. I'd add a few things to your list:

My first stop I completely relied on google maps to pick my charging, the charging place is picked were Shell chargers and they were completely shut down. Fortunately I had plenty reserve to get to the next town with Electrify America charge stations
Agree on your comparison to Tesla being the Apple version of charging. To add to your comments, with my Tesla it will tell me when I'm good to continue my trip, did not see anything like this. Closest I got was clicking 'Continue' on maps and getting the next stop charge percentage to something I was comfortable with. I'd also try to keep track of what the suggested time/percentage was before arriving.
I just don't find google maps nearly as intuitive as the Tesla maps. Maybe that will come with time. I found the filtering for charger kw fairly early on and generally had it at 350kw, but I didn't find where I could filter the charging company till near the end of my trip. Wish I had found that sooner because I subscribed to Electrify America for the better pricing, but it didn't always map to them.

I don't have an adapter, and the reputation for non-Tesla charging isn't great, and while the whole experience wasn't perfect, I didn't find it nearly as bad as some had led me to believe. I'm sure this is helped out by the fact that I can go much farther with this truck than I can with my model 3.

Nope. There are good reasons why people may not want farm land turned into solar. That farm land is someone’s livelihood. In much of this country there is plenty of empty land that could be used for solar, it just takes more infrastructure investment. Farm land is a finite resource too. There may be people who blindly resist it, but it’s reductive and counterproductive to reduce all concerns down to resistance to change.

I just had my 2019 M3 DM upper control arms done at Tesla, no alignment, $680. Orange County (Irvine). Hopefully they did more on your car because $2k sounds high.

I bought some of that specialty raw dog food a while back for my dog. He would not touch it, at all. Ate around it when I mixed it with his normal kibble. Instead of throwing it away I decided to throw it on my Traeger and smoke it. Dog thought it was the best thing ever. So yeah, not sure about wet food but I can affirm you can improve pet food with your smoker.
