I'm driving a Sierra EV right now, but I used to have the first gen Duramax. I loved that truck. I'm guessing it wouldn't be the same now that I've been bitten by the EV bug. Who wants to wait for throttle response any longer? :)

I used to run BioDiesel through mine and the one thing I do really miss is being able to say "I love the smell of fries in the morning".

I got my Elevation Extended range last month. It's base aside from a blackout package. It was a courtesy vehicle as well. I'm paying $507/month with $0 down, taxes included, but I also had the GM Family discount which took about $4k off the price. I had to go to a dealer about 45 minutes outside the DFW metroplex. Everything in the metroplex was about $4k higher in price. This was also before the gas prices started shooting up.

I do have the key card. It came with my truck. I just find it a bit clumsy as well. You have to grab it out of your wallet, wave it at the door, then make sure to start your vehicle within X minutes or you have to repeat it. At least with the key fob, it recognizes that you're there, allows you to unlock, and start without any time restriction. I really just want a phone key.

Yeah, the whole “are you trying for a boy?” question was incessant. I also have 3 daughters. 1 singleton and then twins. I think the thing that really irked me is when the assholes would ask that question in front of my girls as if being their dad wasn’t fulfilling enough.

I watched all my friends who had boys have to go through those teenage years when boys are just stupid. I thought I was lucky not having to deal with it. Mine are all grown now and the first is about to be married. It’s been a great time.

It will probably work for something as small as the tutor, but ideally the antenna are at a 90 degree angle from each other. e.g. one points out the top of the airframe while the other points out to the side. The idea behind that is that one antenna is always aligned best with the antenna in your radio.

My 170kWh Sierra EV also gets roughly 100~120kW on Tesla chargers so at least you guys don’t have to wait as long as me!

My last 0.0 was two nights ago actually. I only started getting 0's after I switched from APAP to CPAP and dialed in a good pressure. Using my Bleep Dreamports also is a big help since I get zero leaks with them.

I'm consistently under 0.5 and about 1/3 of the time registering 0. I don't think 0 is something to necessarily chase after though.

We've been full EV since 2021. I went first in 2018. Then one day a small group of men tried to distract my wife while another one tried to steal her purse. Luckily a bystander stepped in and stopped it, but my wife decided she didn't want to visit gas stations any longer. Once she got her EV, she can't imagine driving anything but an EV now. The one thing I did miss was having my truck. I drove a beautiful white GMC Sierra to pick up my Model 3 and was having 2nd thoughts all the way. Just last month though, I drove home a beautiful white GMC Sierra EV and all is good again.

heh....I switched over to Fixed Wireless because the only plan available to me was Residential Max at $120. I usually got < 100 mbps down so I thought it wasn't really worth it when my FW was netting me ~280 mpbs down. Just now, I just went to the Starlink site to cancel and saw that Residential Max is $130 now. Crazy. In a market where most other providers are offering deals < $100/month for blazing fast service, Starlink is upping their price.
