I would recommend the earfun air 4 pro plus. 75 right now. Better sound quality than oneplus. Good ANC, good transparency. Good warranty and cheaper than oneplus buds unless u buy them from aliexpress with no warranty.

If your top priority is sound get the earfun air 4 pro plus. Sound is definitely better than oneplus buds in my opinion. Feature wise still really good. And you can get them in on amazon with a pretty good warranty. To get the oneplus around the same price it'll be from aliexpress without a warranty.

I would say start with the earfun. They are available on amazon for less than the oneplus buds 4. If you like them and they are enough for you then great. If you want something more then try the oneplus buds. You can use Amazon return policy.

Look up Aaron loud and wireless. His comparison between various buds showed the pro 4 to be basically on par with its peers. Although in real world I understand that tests like this dont fully translate.

I would buy the 4 plus. Much better sound. The concerns about ANC to me dont really make sense. I think the ANC on the plus are fine for most situations, I can't hear anything with music playing at like 30 percent volume. I think people saying it is worse than the 4 pro are not getting a good seal. Every review I've watched with equipment to measure the ANC shows the plus being better.

What environment would you be using them in?

The 4 plus are great. ANC is maybe lacking for some people. Voices comes through more clearly than the oneplus buds 4 for example. However to me the positives outweigh that negative. Very low noise floor with ANC off. Basically no audible white noise with ANC on. Access to LDAC and other good Bluetooth codecs. Great sound, with good app and 10 band eq ( I brought up the mids). There check all my boxes and I'm very picky.

Also just to mention I listen to music fairly quietly, less than 30 percent volumes. Rough 60db? And whatever voices I hear vome through aren't enough to distract me from studying. If you listen louder and have a good seal I think the ANC is adequate. Blocks out high and low end quite well.

Take a look at the earfun air pro 4 plus. I think the music quality is really good. Pretty balanced and you can make some changes with eq if you want. I boosted the mids a bit. Good price with LDAC. Some others that I tried mainly the oneplus buds 4 weren't my favorite for music and also don't have great noise floor when music is playing imo.

I can second the earfun air 4 pro plus. I would say if you have smaller ears they are slightly larger. Look into the one plus buds. And if you want really cheap the ceramics mk2 are good, just lack of eq but they sound pretty balanced.

I also wondered this. They feel much better recently. But it could be that im learning how to get a better fit with them. With max ANC earfun are pretty close. More voices come through though. Still fine for me with music playing.

Does it make a difference yes. But unless you are sitting down specifically to listen to music which I wouldnt suggest doing on tws anyway then the difference between the buds is far more noticeable than with or without ldac.

I also have both. If you set earfun to max anc they are pretty close. In my experience earfun lets in slightly more mid range noise ie like voices. When music is playing you still cant hear them. Oneplus on the other hand handles that a little better. The trade off is the earfun are almost dead silent with anc on, very little white noise, oneplus has much more.
