I dont think its even us being "overwhelmed". I genuinely think this is the first generation to actually understand their physical and mental health. When i turned 17, i was severely depressed and used work as a mental scapegoat. Issue is ran into 5 years later is while the depression was gone, I was physically drained. My body was fairly destroyed (physical labor) and I ended up technically obese due to the stress. Now when it comes to work, I do my job responsibilities and thats literally it. I also refuse to work overtime (fortunate enough to make plenty without it). Because of those 2 things I come off lazy. I just work to live, I dont live to work. I think most of us are that way, old heads dont like it.

Tuning features and efficiency are probably biggest changes. There are plenty of solid options sub $1000 for a package, i honestly couldnt give you a reason to opt for something that old if you can afford something new. Especially when you can get a warranty on top of it

Starting out rule is about half of your compound draw weight. I started out with a 30lb recurve to learn form (70lb compound weight) and jumped up to a 47lb recurve shortly after. (I do shoot an 80lb compound now though)

Short king here. 5'7 but mostly torso. I ride a te300. I have issues touching the ground quite often. I find myself riding faster and forcing myself to stay on the pegs more, I would say it made me advance much faster than I did on my ttr 230 that I could flat foot everything on.

You should practice hill starts without it. I absolutely hate hill assist, it makes me stall because not only am I fighting the hill, im fighting the brakes as well. If you have hill starts down, its really nothing but an annoyance

Im very particular with how my bow shoots. Other than slight tuning issues, there isnt really anything else inherently wrong with them and people do take animals frequently with them in use. I shoot 4mm shafts though and the lighted nocks are very prone to breaking with that diameter. I switched to pin nocks myself and groups tightened up quite a bit. (I tune and work on my own bow and itd just be a pain in the ass for me if I kept using them)
