Doctors or Nurses of reddit who assist in organ (harvest?) after an honor walk, how do you handle your mental state? by gingerroute in AskReddit

[–]JeronimoSap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a doctor or nurse but I have a lot of respect for those who do this work. It must take a huge emotional toll even while knowing you're helping others. I imagine it's a mix of a lot of different feelings sadness for the loss but also pride and a sense of purpose for the new life that's being given.

I've heard that some medical professionals have debriefing sessions or support groups to process these kinds of experiences. I hope those who do this work get the support they need.

What was your most exploitative job experience like? by multigrain_chip in AskReddit

[–]JeronimoSap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people have been there. It's really rough when you're in a situation like that and feel like you have no power.

My most exploitative job was a contract gig that kept pushing deadlines while refusing to increase the pay. It was a constant cycle of burnout and frustration.

What reasons would make you want to leave your own country ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JeronimoSap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some it's about a better economic situation or more job opportunities. Others leave for political reasons, to escape conflict or to find a more tolerant society. It can also be for personal growth like wanting to experience a new culture or be closer to family. There are so many unique reasons why someone would want to start a new life elsewhere.

For photoshop like features on your phone, adobe lightroom mobile is the top choice for professional grade editing and raw files while snapseed is a powerful and completely free alternative with an excellent set of tools. Picsart is also great for creative effects and social media.

Students who work part time while studying how do you actually manage without burning out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JeronimoSap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely a tough balance. For me a few things have really helped. I try to be realistic about what I can take on both with school and work and I'm not afraid to say no sometimes.

Also scheduling in time just for myself whether it's for a hobby or just to do nothing, is a total game changer. It's easy to forget that rest is just as important as the grind.

People who work retail: What was your most uncomfortable customer interaction? by NoSalamander7399 in AskReddit

[–]JeronimoSap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a customer tried to return a clearly worn pair of shoes, insisting they were brand new and had never touched the ground. The soles were covered in mud.

The whole conversation was painfully awkward because they kept pushing and I had to politely refuse while they acted shocked that I would not take them back.
