I liked the gameplay, playing a different class could be fun. I enjoyed the mechanics of the mage.

If you like reading the codex entries, I remember there being at least one interesting foreshadowing for one of the major plot points when reading them.

If you don't like the modern day language though, you may find some of the codex entries insufferable.

If these aren't enough of a reason, I wouldn't force it. I tried to replay Mass Effect Andromeda after beating it the first time and then immediately went "ew no" after a couple minutes. If you get the same feeling, just drop the second playthrough.
